  1. Jut remake what you have usin elastic. Make them short so they're always under tension and trying to push up your thigh The natural shape of our butts/thigh tops stops them riding up too far anyway
  2. I use BluTac to stick my fans in Not sure if it's sold in the US? the kind of plasticene that kids stick posters to the wall with? It's great as it dampens any vibrations and allows you to move it until your heart is content
  3. Yes mate Steve Rogers,Tango'd Fett makes them. That said, most ESB E11s were just normal ANH ones with nothing fancy just a scope slapped on. Speak to Steve as he helped me made mine ages ago and it's sweet
  4. Maybe the return edges on the torso aren't deep enough?
  5. I use eBay I can't remember the shop but there are lots and lots on there All shapes and sizes.
  6. Nice Paul Also nice you've made them asymmetrical too Try the paint they use on bouncy castles. PVC fabric paint I think...? It'll be searchable under inflatable paint
  7. missed the link http://www.howtocleanstuff.net/how-to-whiten-yellowed-plastic/
  8. Google Nintendo ABS yellowing. I saw a video on youtube about a chap who used ammonia to unyellow his gameboy. Also ABS and worked a treat Brave man to try that on a TK though but it should work. It's just the acrylic cap that'll be the problem, the yellowness in underneath that
  9. An absolute legend! Good work Paul. thanks for starting this up and still having the passion to continue through all the years. Many thanks for all your help on the space trooper too matey (stay tuned )
  10. I'm sure Mason will do Paul and us all proud Good work skipper
  11. no mate, but that's cool
  12. Anyone know how to add a PDF to this forum? I've got a great little document about US tank optics. It's a bit hard to follow as the document is more on the periscopes the scope was used in. M38, M40 and M19 etc are mentioned and shown in the periscope housing M19 and M19A1, M19A1 is a limited edition scope It mentions something to do ith the change if the scope was hit by a bullet they had to be taken out easily, rather than wreck the whole periscope assembly There's also mention to the antitank reticule being important as thats what the soldiers had been trained with. They changed it, but changed it back M19A1 used in Medium tank M3 (M19 is different as it does not have an opening to allow for illumination, it had an electrical illumination) M38A2 used in Medium tank M4 series M40A2 used in Light tanks M3 M5 M5A1 series.
  13. I'm sure I read somewhere it doesn't stand for anything It just sounded good.....?
  14. Use a rotary hole boring tool...? Pointy drill bit you spin by hand and it slowly makes a hole. Simple
  15. I use a balleriana catsuit. Skin tight and black and shiney, like the films. I feel motorcycle underwear etc isn't tight enough and bunches on the elbows.
  16. Have you glued them onto the inside of the armour using the gloss side on the plate maybe? Make some new ones and criss cross score the dull side of the plate with a scalpel a few times. I don't like E6000, takes too long so I always use 2 part superglue. Try making new ones and see how you go As for walking correctly, yeah that depends on you being the bang on correct size etc. Even then if you wear pieces close, you'll rub. As others have said, it's a very fine and on going process. When I do the legs I always use masking tape to hold it together first and walk about. If it's good, I then commit with glue.
  17. Yeah just make sure you have the top or outside edge correct looking with the butt strip, the. The inside it lower join can be trimmed wherever you want. If you cut too much it harder to join the non butted side but still possible with masking tape to hold it circular etc Some TKs had wing like looking arms (Luke being a classic) so don't worry too much about the elbow. Focus on the wrist side of trimming. That's what I do anyway
  18. I think it's close yes mate Monmouth's not too far away either I guess? My mate lives in Rugby. He's a prison governor, so behave
  19. Hair drier would also do the job. Trick is to bend it with your finger as you apply heat. Feel the tension in the plastic slowly give as the heat takes affect John

We're only too glad to help, promise Sadly, I live in Cardiff. I even helped Ricky in the post above Shop around, there's no rush. Welcome! John
  21. E6000 takes years to set! Just use 2 part superglue with an activator Bang! Bonds in seconds
