  1. Thanks buddy, and just for you
  2. I finally managed to get round to getting some full pictures of my ESB build, so here it is
  3. Im copying your img codes to make this thread easier to read. Ab plate buttons Hovi mic tips Helmet lens Im guesing the pic showing the left side of the blaster i the missing image?
  4. Sorry they will have to be removed for your elite application.
  5. These parts i cirled in red that look like cocking hamers shoud not be on a blaster for anh
  6. There are a lot of pics there Kent, but i noticed that you need to 1 get a pic that clearly shows the colour of your helmet lens and hovi mic tips 2 get a pic that clearly shows the colour of the ab plate buttons 3 your E-11 has rotj style greeblies on the right hand side that do not comply with ANH standards Apart from that the armour looks great, you did a great job
  7. With the fx armour due to the size of the various parts the upper back armour will overlap the kidney plate, this is normal. If you like you can trim the kidney plate down so that it will sit more like the original anh armour, thats up to you
  8. Trimming eyes is a personal thing. Some like the flashing present on some of the lids from ANH and some like to make the eyes more open. Go with what you feel you like best, but remember to take it off slowly, once its gone, its gone.. Here is how i trimmed mine, pretty open
  9. I am starting to like this scruffy looking beat up jedi armour.. it has a certain look to it, something i cant quite put my finger on.. I really look forward to seeing how this turns out
  10. I am sinking some Stella's watching the google box and doing a bit of surfing, like you do.. I bought a new sat nav earlier today so i am playing with that, seeing the quickest route to the keebab shop
  11. Coming on nicely there mate
  12. Hey Thayne you did a relly great job here. I was suprised by the way you went hero because of all the teeth visible on the ATA but it looks totally awesome Nate your build looks great. These kits almost build themselves, i tried to take mine slowly and it also took about 2 hours. Great work buddy
  13. Awesome news Damian, the best of luck with your build and remember to have fun with it
  14. Vernio pliers are more accurate than the hammer tools that come with most snap kits, that's true. When i glue the tabs in place i make the plastic squares 1 1/2 inch in size. Some make of snaps are deeper than others and will make the tab stand slightly proud. I always give them a good covering of E-6000 and then use a couple of clamps to hold them in place while the glue sets. For complex curves using nylon webbing to put the snaps on is a good idea.
  15. Well done mate, best of luck to you
  16. Today for my lunch i had 2 bacon and egg sarnies, with heinz ketchup
  17. I dont know the weight of the canvas i use, i go to the store and check it out by feel. I have used thinner material, really thick and now use a medium weight. Once layered the belts are still light weight and flexible but strong enough to hold blasters and pouches. Here is a picture of the canvas i use, it can also be known as cotton drill, which is the weave or pattern and i use both natural and white canvas depending on the costumers preference.
  18. These are the belt rivet covers they need to be seperated and glued onto the main ammo belt after you have fitted the belt. Although i have known some people to glue these to the ab plate and then give the ab buttons away to a mate
  19. Oooh TM hdpe helmet, nice, very very nice
  20. Ok i am finished with this helmet build Right, whats next
  21. Yeah i think having the SE-14R as a FISD detachment approved option for EIB would be cool. I always think the main focus of the EIB should be in the armour details, and seeing as the DLT-19 is there ( i know we see a tk using this ) having an E-11 is not really needed at all for the EIB program. I would like to apply for ANH eib soon and the only thing stopping me is the blaster, my hyperfrim E-11 is esb orientated and my DLT-19 just needs the cover to be complete. I may just end up getting another E-11 blaster to do ANH style but i think the SE-14R would be another cool option
