  1. I still need to make a few things for the care package, sorry boss ive been on a break
  2. Its ok Marcel they are just jealous, i will be joining you soon
  3. Welcome to the fisd
  4. If you dont like the look of the eyes on the AP you can trim them out a little more and maybe use a heat gun on the eye bump to get rid of it. It seems to be a little more bumpy than the other helmets out there.
  5. Very nice i am going to be working on a couple of esb lids soon so this is very inspiring
  6. Nice going Scott, i look forward to seeing your progress. If you want to be ultra accurate you could go for white webbing or elastic, but black is good for not being able to notice it under your armour I like to use both snaps and velcro for double protection.
  7. Well done TK 2165 Now get signed up to an event so we can troop again soon buddy. I can see your smile from here mate All the best from tk 8993.
  8. Hi Scott, i think it took me about 3 weeks of build time to complete the suit for me to troop in it on sunday, although i was using my dl helmet. I still need to build the thermal detonator and the helmet and another belt rig for my ESB trooper Since the hi res pics have been available, it seems more ovious that th ab plate buttons were actually lighter than the #15 humbrol people have been using
  9. Well i am 6 feet tall and eight over 15 stone which i think is over 200 pounds, Brian so i think it can be done
  10. Some random pictures during the build.
  11. The armour body The finished belt, i used plastic weld to put the rivet covers on and the drop boxes are rivited to the 1 inch white elastic which is simply looped over the belt so they can freely move around The legs with the sniper knee plate and ammo pack. The joining strips on the back of the calfs are 1 inch wide, where as the rest of the joining strips on the legs are 25mm
  12. Nothing much to see here, its all pretty standard stuff. But i have used dungaree bib and brace style adjustable thingymajigs so that the ab plate and chest plate are adjustable. This is so that i can move the parts up or down for a nice snug fit.
  13. This is the new way for strapping arms to me. Notice all 3 parts are connected together. Also having the arms seperate from the rest of the armour makes it easer to get dressed and you can take off the main body suit and leave the arms on if you need to. I am using 1 inch black elastic in a continual piece holding the bells and biceps and then on the inside of the elbow a 2 inch piece of black elastic holds up the forearms. 3/4 inch black elastic is glued to the bottom edge of the bell to keep them in place.
  14. Who wants to see some of the finer details? I have glued on the shoulder straps Painted the ab plate buttons, humbrol #14 french blue and humbrol #5 dark admiralty grey And riveted the thigh ammo pack on the right leg
  15. Where is the blue on this costume?
  16. Whats all this 'could have been?' - we were the hero's mate ps i will send you your photos later on Pete pps i am six foot tall and weight 15 stone or so
  17. I love this armour the more i have worked on it the more i have found out the suit is insanely accurate. It has been a real joy to work and build. I have this armour and my fx and about 6 helmets at the moment, i still need to build my tm helmet hence why i used the dan laws today. I also have another dl helmet kit just arrived with me here last week thas i also need to build.
  18. My TM armour along with my Dan Laws anh stunt helmet and DLT-19 The last few photo's are with Pete aka stukatrooper and him TM anh stunt suit and E-11
  19. Thats the first thing that came into my mind..
  20. Looking really great there Kev i like your attention to detail. Putting in the extra original features shows you went the extra mile ps i sorted out the picture link. You need to copy the IMG CODE link when posting the pics.
  21. Ive never tried the #48 but it looks close to. Also i think the #15 midnight blue is too dark, so i also use the #14 french blue for my ab buttons.
  22. Use humbrol # 14 french blue for the tube stripes
  23. Its nice to see some different costumes, not the usual anh. I also lookfoward to seeing more of your build
