  1. Hi Sammy, welcome to FISD... Nothing more to add... Caleb has already shown you the way... Just tell you, that you can ask all the questions you want. There are plenty of people here who will be able to help you....
  2. Congratulations trooper, welcome to the ranks!!!
  3. Hello Nick. You are doing a great job!!! I recommend you to sand these small "jumps", as my experience tells me that these are areas where "cracks" can appear..
  4. Welcome to FISD Zack!!! Looking forward to seeing your Big Brown Box photos!!!
  5. Hello Daniel...As they rightly say, you can ask as many questions as you want, and post as many photos as you want You can start by getting a drop box, as you will need it for the basic level (It appears from the pictures that you have only one and it moves from side to side ... or maybe it's in the butt area?)... It was probably stolen by a Jawa... It's a very common issue...
  6. Hello Harry. Basically, this is what you need...Unfortunately, you will need to have your TK number before April 14th midnight US EST (-5 UTC), to order the Racing. Who can buy these shirts? Shirts will only be available to FISD Detachment members with a 501st approved TK # and Full Detachment Access here. In other words, one of theses badges must appear under your name: Once you have your TK number, you must request Full Detachment access. If you only have the 501st Member badge under your name, but have an approved TK, go to this thread and request detachment access to get updated before placing your order.
  7. Hello Keith, welcome to FISD.
  8. Hello Sean...Don't forget that you are an important part of this. So, Sean, thanks to you as well...
  9. Hi Ben...Congrats, your armor looks great!!!!. If I may, I would like to add one more thing(suggestion) to Mario's and Caleb's comments. Not the biggest deal in the world, (we see this often), but as per the CRL and seen in the reference images the tops in the front section should lean forward. L2- Fall of tube stripe tops ideally lean toward the front. Reference Images Not a big deal(and it is not necessary to achieve the higher levels), but when you apply for Centurion, we hope you will consider replacing them for a better overall look. Again, congratulations, and welcome to FISD.
  10. Hello and welcome to FISD Danny... Sorry to hear about the loss of your partner .... And yes, short stormtroopers are cool, so, don't give up...Keep us informed and ask any questions you may have.
  11. Hello Anne. Welcome to FISD. Good luck with your build!!!
  12. I'm sure this thread will be very useful to you

Note that we consider both text (CRL) and pictures (screen caps/reference images) when reviewing submissions. First of all, We appreciate your patience, brother. And that's all sir. Great job on those fixes. Congratulations.

  15. Felicidades Mario!!! Impresionante, muy impresionante Congratulations Mario!!! Impressive, very impressive
  16. Hi Ben. I'll be the DO making your review. First of all, I would like to congratulate you for the great effort you have made to upgrade your armor to Centurion level. However, I see two issues that need to be corrected in order to move along with your application. -The gap between the abdomen and kidney armor and the gap between the shoulder armor(left) and the chest/back plates. Also, regarding what @gmrhodes13 comments, even if it is a simple dressing issue, it is necessary to put on the armor and take new photos.(don’t forget the overlapping forearm and gap at the wrist). Just one last effort Ben... You are very close to seeing the Centurion badge under your name. I am sure that after so much effort, putting on the armor once again will not be a problem. Remember, very important, the gap between the abdomen and kidney armor. Tighten your belt and maybe that will fix it.

  18. Hi Nicholas. Thanks for your patience. First of all, I would like to tell you that your armor looks great. However, there are a few details that need to be fixed before we can put the Centurion badge under your name. These details are very easy to fix, don't worry. -You did a very good job on the teeth area. Most of yours are perfect, but there seems to be a bit much on the tops of the ones shown. A little non-acetone paint remover, a toothpick and some Q-tips and it will be perfect. Reference image -L3: The top of the ABS ammo belt should sit at or just above the bottom of the central and vertical abdomen button panels. It is still a little low. It's not much, but we think you should raise it a little. Reference images -L3: Lower thigh ridge joins (front and rear) shall butt-up flush against each other. Any gaps must be backed with ABS or filled as not to be noticeable. We can see that on the front side, you fixed it, so this will not be a problem for you. You can visit this thread here, I'm sure Joseph will be happy to shoot you a packet of white Sugru for free. If you want, PM Joseph. Reference image Reference image L3: -Plate does not overlap the edges of this area and shall show a definite straight cut edge around all sides. This is a super easy fix by just prying off the plate, trimming it and re-attaching it. Reference images L3: -T-tracks and grips shall be of a black plastic appearance with no silver/metallic weathering allowed. A light coat of black paint, and it will be perfect! Reference images That's all Nicholas. We are sure that these small fixes, are not a problem for you, seeing the great job you have done with the fixes you were asked for in your EIB application.
