  1. More progress on the Triple D's AM Kit to replace my ATA kit.
  2. I think these are good, what say you @gmrhodes13? Sent from my SM-N981U1 using Tapatalk
  3. Thank you Glen! This is very helpful.
  4. Okay, I'm moving up the chest and back plates and the shoulder straps. Can someone give me trim line suggestions for these Shoulder bridges? I'm a bit unsure how much there should be left on the sides and ends.
  5. I'd second this and check with Dave's Darkside Depot. Sent from my SM-N981U1 using Tapatalk
  6. Welcome to whitearmor!
  7. Thank you for the kind words @Sly11. I do my best for the best detachment in the Legion. As always, if you have ideas for Merch or ways to improve the process, my "door" is always open. Feel free to drop me a dm, an email, even in person if you happen to have the chance to troop with me. I do read all the notes everyone makes and I'm always humbled by the kind words everyone offers. I also try to answer any questions or provide input on any suggestions. With Unquestioned Loyalty, TK-12953 aka James Sent from my SM-N981U1 using Tapatalk

  9. My wife's build is going slower then we wanted. We did some work on the helmet today.
  10. I'm with Glen on this one. I bought boots from IB before they became Keep Trooping and I bought the correct size for my feet and they were too tight, so I ended up replacing them. I would get one size up, and add a good insole.
  11. Armorer Rocker Patches As stated in the newsletter, I'm happy to announce rocker patches for the Armorer Program. There is currently just the one patch, and members are eligible to receive two of them once they reach Level 2, "Armorer", These patches were designed, bought and paid for by @TheRascalKing, and he is graciously donated them to the detachment to help recognize those that go above and beyond to help other Troopers build their armor. Our Thanks to Justin for doing this, and I hope this will help us promote this program and get more members excited about "Troopers helping Troopers" not only build the ranks of FISD, but also help us with the Advance to 1500! If you would like to request your rocker(s), you can contact me, or Justin directly and we will get you squared away. Approved Armorer's are allowed 2 patches and will just have to pay for shipping.
  12. I've helped Jarod, TK-12140 @jayrod214 get both his ANH and ESB TK's built and approved. ANH -trimmed, sized, glued, strapped, painted ESB -resized removing shims, fixed the strapping and fitted it to him properly. *I'm not sure if we can count his HWT as it is the same armor as the ANH, we just change out parts, I built a new belt and chest armor with the ammo pouches so we could swap out the parts, and add the pauldron to his ANH. He will be submitting his ESB for EIB in the next few weeks, so I'm hoping to pick up another point there.
  13. I think the belt is done. Sent from my SM-N981U1 using Tapatalk
  14. Thank you Glen and Mario! I appreciate the responses. Looks like I can add my belt boxes and holster now.
  15. Okay, I've put in the 6 split rivets, and the "Han snap" And I'm starting the strapping. I'll go back to the holster after I get some clarification from the DOs. So, here are some updates. I still need to do some trimming of the cod, but I feel like on the right path. I followed @justjoseph63 and @wingnut65 pictures and suggestion for the 1" and 2" nylon instead of building snap plates this time, we'll see how it goes. I have to order some more 24 Line snaps as I'm just about out and the double snaps will eat them up. Thanks in advance for any feedback.
  16. Okay, time to talk belt build. I'm taking a break from my wife's R1TK to get back to my EIB AHN Stunt build. Question about the Billgram for the belt. The measurement for bottom of the belt to holster reads 1" (2.5), but it doesn't show where you measure. It how much strap is showing, or is it from the bottom of the belt to the bottom of the holster strap? Sent from my SM-N981U1 using Tapatalk
  17. Got one to print correctly! So now I have a complete FDM-printed helmet and now, I have a new Resin-printed helmet to assemble and finish as well. Sent from my SM-N981U1 using Tapatalk
  18. Hey Steve, looks like you've made it to the forum. Were you able to find the patch run thread? James Sent from my SM-N981U1 using Tapatalk
  19. I think the shims are done. I might go back and use the ABS slurry to try and make it seamless, but as EI doesn't require it, I'm going to move on to the next step. Sent from my SM-N981U1 using Tapatalk
  20. I'm so sorry to hear this. I'm sure there is a member or two in the UK that might be willing to help you out. If none of them reach out to you, let me know and I'll chat with you about shipping to the States.
  21. Tell me more about this IKEA enclosure? I've been looking for something for my printers as I'd love to try ABS or ASA. Best I can do is PETG currently and that is if my bed heater is feeling cooperative.
