  1. Got my old tattoo upgraded by a fellow 501st legion member. We've been working on matching our schedules for almost 2 years now. I'm so thrilled with how it turned out. Before and after pics. Sent from my SM-S938U using Tapatalk
  2. He did reply to my email. He doesn't do them anymore regularly, but does when asked. Sent from my SM-S938U using Tapatalk
  3. I emailed @JAFO we'll see if I get a response. Sent from my SM-S938U using Tapatalk
  4. So based on those that have build TFA TK's, is this belt a good start, or is there better options? https://trooperbay.com/product/star-trooper-storm-wars-the-force-awakens-tfa-first-order-stormtrooper-belt-cosplay-costuming-sci-fi-501st/ And I'm guessing I need to either make or buy the boxes that that attach to it, as I don't think they were included in the parts that I have. So would these work? https://www.denuonovo.com/products/star-wars-first-order-stormtrooper-armor-belt-box-parts
  5. Thank you, and I may take you up on it.
  6. So any ideas on where to get the clip greebles, or maybe a file so that I could print replacements?
  7. Thank you as always Glen! This is just the type of info I need.
  8. We are up to $338.94 raised. We still need $589.18 to meet our goal. Thank you to the 27 members that donated thus far!
  9. So I took a whole bunch of pictures of the armor. Again, I don't know for sure who the vendor is. I bought it 2nd had for next to nothing. The trooper I bought it from said KB Props, but I'm thinking as others have said more like 850 Armorworks. I believe I'm missing some parts, and there are some parts I don't have a clue about. As this is my first FOTK style build, I'd love any and all help. I'm pretty sure I have all the forearms, biceps and should pieces. I have the calves and thighs, but there are lots of extra pieces, and I don't think I have the knees. I'm hoping the parts in the top row on the first picture are the lower legs (boot flares). I have the Chest/Ab and back plate. And I'm guessing that the one part is the "yoke" or part of the "yoke". Then I have a bunch of Thermal Detonator parts, and some resin greebles (lower leg bars, side arm mount, not sure about the other parts). Then I have the cod and butt plates, plus a few drop boxes. I think I'm missing some of these or there is more to it, but, there they are. And finally I have these parts that I don't have a clue what they are for. I originally thought they one parts might be the flares for the lower legs, but now I'm wondering if they are part of the "yoke", and the 2nd photo are the lower leg flares (spats). I'm missing any and all of the "clip greeblies", but I'm sure I can aquire/print those. Anyway these are all the parts. Any and all input appreciated.
  10. And this is why I ask the experts. Thank you! I figured the helmet was wrong. It just didn't seem right, but couldn't put my finger on the issue. Thanks for that input troopers! I'll take some more photos of individual parts and post them soon. I appreciate everyone's input and assistance. When it comes to First Order stuff, my knowledge is severely lacking. 11. Inventory coming soon. Not sure about this helmet. It isn't cast or ABS, but I don't see any battery boxes or things like that to indicate it is a Black Series or something of that nature. Sent from my SM-S938U using Tapatalk
  12. I honestly don't know as I don't have it in hand yet, I'll post more pictures once I have it in hand. Sent from my SM-S938U using Tapatalk
  13. I'm fortunate enough to be picking up a new to me FOTK kit. The current owner believes it is a KB Props version. I'm hoping to build it into a TFA FOTK and then paint it the correct red to make it a Cardinal. I plan to log my progress here. Does anyone have suggestions for build pages or even better YouTube builds for a FOTK build? This is a very different build then my OT or the Non-Saga TK I'm working on. 14. I fought against it. There were so many other better names, but once Legion had their minds made up....
  15. Nick, Unfortunately Jason is no longer a member of the 501st. I don't think he has been on the forum in a year or two now. It is a loss for all of us, as his work and the documentation of it was amazing. I didn't want you waiting around for a reply from him. James
  16. Amazon, Big Bad Toy Store, Entertainment Earth, Hasbro Pulse, etc, etc, etc. I'm just upset because I can never get any of the "Walmart Exclusives" in my area. I think there are a couple of collectors that have made a deal with the Toy Department manager, because they are always the ones posting that they have them and are selling them for more than retail.
  17. April fool's I hope. Were scheduled to troop together in May. Sent from my SM-S938U using Tapatalk
  18. Does anyone know what happened to the old ATA molds? I need to replace the shins on my son's kit, and I'd like to use the same ones if possible. If not, any suggestions on something that might match up? I only need to replace one, but can do both if need be. Sent from my SM-S938U using Tapatalk
  19. I have had really good success with the Gorilla 2 pat epoxy. It takes a bit longer to setup, vs the gel glue, but it has been solid. I've also used JB Weld 2 part epoxy as well with good results. Sent from my SM-S938U using Tapatalk
  20. Jason was in my Garrison, I still chat with him on FB now and again. Unfortunately for all of us, he requested to be retired last year and is no longer an active Legion member.
  21. @Sayless don't encourage him, we get enough from the meme squad. That said, keep up the good work. I know that @BigJasoni has tried to dissuade folks because of how much extra time and effort is involved with the sanding, and priming and painting and sanding, etc to complete this type of build. But it has to feel good when you finally reach the finish line! Keep up the amazing work.
  22. Which Garrison? There might be a member or two on there that can help. Most of the Garrisons have a Facebook page, you can often send a message there. But as Glen suggested, trying their forum might be the best bet.
  23. Yes, they are all different. Sent from my SM-S938U using Tapatalk
  24. I just saw this and shared it with some friends. It looks like they raided a Sandtrooper locker. But, yeah that shin is interesting. Sent from my SM-S938U using Tapatalk
