I've got launchpads speakers they are great....TCI though, well I added a cut off switch to the battery to avoid the costant problem with its sensitivity. I dont know know maybe a better mic then the one the original TCI builder suggested would solve this? Launchpads speakers are loud and clear too, unfortunately I just lost my patience messing with the thing and am just going to get a romfx instead and use the LP hovi speakers.

No problem Brian, sounds like menards is pretty well equipped Lucky you got the TK boots right off the bat. THey didnt have them when I got my armor, went with CA boots. My wife told me to store them outside In the proccess of getting a Rom fx as well. Had a trooper com but really want something nice to complete the TK. Good luck, with your armor building. Thats pretty clean, like the design alot, very nice work. A romfx is in the waiting here too, have heard nothing but good things from you guys about them.

Brian go with theses and buy a couple packs in case anything goes wrong. They are easy to cut out and try again. One tip is if the material your using isnt very thick use your diaganol pliers and cut down the stud portion and reopen with some neednose plies if needed. Setter, disk and hammer work great. Heres a link here For the velcro hit up lowes or home depot and buy the roll its like 10-12 bucks you can use the left over to use for ach padding found on the bay which is removable and can be positioned easily since the pads have a loop side. Recently Ive even spotted some clear industrial velcro at home depot.

Got CA boots and tried to inquire on a pair of TK's. Terrell got the last pair of the size needed. Most definitely going to change over, not a big fan of the flismy pleather, nor the smell.... For what it's worth they do the job.

Didn't even realize like the others have said that there was some alternative boots to be bought. The bad thing about CA boots is after a few troops the pleather around the heal gets indents. Any similar problems with the TK's?
