  1. Well done so far your almost there, if you are thinking of going for centurion shim both sides of the ab it will end up worth it, just remember you can cut some off the shim if the expansion shrinks, I added more to the shim and then cut 10mm off when I lost weight. Look up how to make abs paste it’s very easy and use E6000 for the shims so you can peel them off if you ever no longer need them. Well done and keep up the effort the emperor is proud of you.
  2. Good looking kit well done! and look after it.
  3. All good advice as above, but a simple suggestion that might help too, don’t holster the blaster leave it out of the shots, it only drags your belt down, do the action shot with it but that’s it.
  4. All the best with your build and make sure to take plenty of photos and ask questions if you are not sure
  5. Very cool looking kit, welcome and serve the empire with pride!
  6. Welcome trooper, we are all effected but the empire will survive so hang tight and we will all be out again soon serving the emperor with pride!
  7. Looks good, preparation before taking your approval shots counts for most kitting up issues, if you have not checked out level 2 and 3 approvals I recommend looking at them as you are not far from reaching those levels.
  8. Nice kit, looks like easy fix dressing issues, best off getting some spandex or compression gear as the RS gear tends to bunch up. As soon as I ditched the RS under gear everything sat nicely. Good job and you will be serving the empire soon enough.
  9. Awesome looking kit you will make the emperor proud, go serve with pride!

  15. First let me say it was really heart breaking to cut what I spent hours on painting but I decided to do the chop. http:// by -matthewwormleaton- after some sanding and a repaint I was happy with the result.

  17. Welcome to the dark side!
  18. Hi all, because I was building in between bush fires and a deadline of 5 weeks I didn’t take any photos but I am happy to say it was a breeze and I was all approved a few days before TROS. Now that it’s all over there are several mods I want to do to make the kit more screen accurate. I followed many build threads and had help from Darren, Glen and Jade from the MEPD so he won’t see this. A few things with the fibreglass kits to note, they do need support in the yolk across the shoulders, a good sand and wash is required prior to any undercoat, it’s vital to roughen up edges prior to applying any glue and be prepare for touch ups after each troop. I have a few photos to post up of things that I did to make the kit a little easier to fit. More to come soon. ' I’m on right of photo.
