  1. Hi Tony and Andrew, i have added my 501st profile link twice as it came up with a different number in the URL. Please let let me know if it doesn’t work or if it’s ok. Thanks for your time Matt
  2. Hi Ian, thanks for that, no one can tell you how much time and effort goes into these kits until you do it for yourself. To be 100% honest the whole kit is far more comfortable with the belt down low, all I did for the EIB application was tighten the belt up which raised it so it looks like all of the approved EIB applications of past. If I wear the belt up higher and if I tighten it up it pushes the return edge of the top of the butt plate and bottom of the kidney plate into my spine. Matt
  3. Hi Dan, I made some adjustments to the arms and reduced the wrist/ forearm /elbow/ bicep gap. I updated the photos to show this and I think it looks much better. matt

  5. Hi Stephen, it took 11 months and there were ups and downs like yours but it was awesome to get the TK ID. I was lucky enough to get my birth date 11 August 1974 ie 11874. But I tell you this iPad is just about killing me when it comes to attaching photos. I did manage o take all of the required photos for centurion so fingers crossed it’s just a quick fix or hopefully nothing at all. matt
  6. Hi Q, I’m struggling with bad internet connection and my iPad just turned off and I lost all my photos, I’m just re-adding them now. I had to download another app to use the Flickr URL because my iPad wouldn’t copy the link, I’m not sure if there is a solution? Hey Stephen, thanks for for that but I have it right next to me with multiple checks because I have had to add the photos twice. i should have them all done soon fingers crossed.
  7. Hi, I would like to have my kit assessed for EIB status, thanks in advance for your time. i think I have all the correct photos as per the check sheet, but I have had issues getting the larger size photos. Please let me know if these will be ok as I only have an iPad which is not cooperating with Flickr and photobucket. 8. Thanks everyone, I will end this thread by saying that since my adjustment to the torso by adding the extra strap my kit is so much more comfortable and the belt is an accessory not something holding the kit together. Thanks for all the comments and support now onto EIB
  9. Thanks Tony, it was worth the wait. matt
  10. Hi, TK11874 requesting 501st and Detachment access. http://501st.com/members/displaymemberdetails.php?userID=27004 thanks TK11874
  11. Hi everyone, I received the best news today, I’m also known now as TK11874. Thanks to everyone that commented along the way I couldn’t have done it without your help. EIB and Centurion I’m on the way Thanks TK11874 (matt)
  12. Hi all, Thanks to everyone for the comments and support but I have awesome news, I am now also known as TK11874. Im still not sure we’re the belt issue came from but it’s all good now after a few emails and a small adjustment. I will be working on my EIB submission then hopefully Centurion as this was my goal from the start. thanks again TK11874 (Matt)
  13. I too Searched just about every thread, looked at the CRL mor3 than once and I combed every centurion application and couldn’t find anything to help. i have made an adjustment to my kit that has lowered the belt so fingers crossed it’s all good. matt
  14. Thanks Joseph, that was the plan I completed by build by following the centurion applications, however, I received some feedback from the SCG GML and I am a bit confused about the 2 comments but really confused by the second. The first was with the screws under the chest piece front and rear. Obviously they are the RS original bracket system, so to try and fix them I have taken them all out and counter sunk the holes more and re-painted all of the screws gloss white. I think it looks better now that they are sitting more shallow so hopefully that will be all good now. The second comment is what has confused me totally, I have been told that my belt needs to cover the rear butt/kidney gap. I have looked at the ANH CRL, screen shots and the last 20 or so centurion applications. I’ve noticed that the gap between the bottom of the belt and the top of the butt/kidney gap varies from 5mm to 30mm depending of the individual build but it never covers the gap hence my confusion. I have ave been in touch with the SCG GML team to get the belt comment clarified before I make any adjustments. however, if I drop the rear of the belt to cover the butt/kidney gap the front of the belt sits 25mm below the ab buttons but I can get it to be within 5 to 10mm of the butt/kidney gap without compromising on the front section. If anyone has any suggestions about the belt I would be appreciative of your help. thanks matt
  15. Thanks Paul, I looked at ANH after reading your comments and it’s very noticeable now. thanks again everyone for your encouraging words. matt
  16. Thanks everyone for the thumbs up, I have submitted my application to the SCG GML. Matt
  17. Thanks everyone for the feedback so far, I did have to pad out the thigh but I made sure I can move without the sniper knee catching. When building the armour I made sure at each stage that I could walk up and down stairs and I can sit without the torso section on leaving the legs in place. I did have one question about the gaps between the hand/forearm/bicep, I widened the gap at the bicep/forearm after watching the live approval because I have long arms. So like Brien said will that gap need to be adjusted for EIB/Centurion. Thanks again for your time and feedback. Matt
  18. Hi All, Thanks in advance for taking the time to view my kit, It is my very first attempt and I did learn lots throughout the build. I couldn’t get the photos to insert as a larger size so I hope that they will do however they are public on my Flickr account. During my build I followed all the centurion builds especially the ones that have RS kits and are about my size. Any help to get to centurion will be awesome. 19. I hope she doesn’t or I’m in big trouble, I can’t see the patch on the table now so it should be good. I was thinking something similar about the thighs, I only noticed it once I had a good look at the photo.
