  1. I use a good quality car polish on mine, auto glym .... works a treat , oh and T Cut before the polish if it’s scuffed [emoji4]T cut is a car paint restorer we get in the U.K. , so anything like that should be ok followed up by a good old polish Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk Pro
  2. Wow, that’s looking great Matt, get your garrison clearance, but also apply for your 501st ID now, as the clearance in interlinked to you getting your TKID, then once cleared apply for EIB and then Centurion..... Your armour looks amazing mate [emoji122][emoji122][emoji122][emoji122][emoji122][emoji3] Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk Pro
  3. I did all my sewing by hand.... and yes.... it shows.... lol Looking forward to the pics Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk
  4. Oh and aiming for Centurion from the off is definitely the right thing to do Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk
  5. I’ve just completed my RS armour and achieved Centurion this week. I didn’t alter my kidney notches, left them as RS made them. I had similar problems to you longing the kidney and butt pieces up, however when strapped together it actually fitted much better then when placed on the bench Make sure the ridge in the back of the kidney and butt line up This is how the butt / kidney notch looked originally .... please note the kidney and ab are not longed up correctly And now after being strapped Hope this helps Have a look at some RS build threads on here, they should help ... this is my build thread... https://www.whitearmor.net/forum/topic/40087-stephens-rs-anh-stunt-build-wip-for-small-people/ Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk
  6. It’s E6000 for me, as I can pull everything apart if I mess something up.... which happens quite often .... doh Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk
  7. You have done a beautiful job of the painting Matt , and those tube stripes..... perfect mate.... perfect. I must admit I love the rough wonky finish to my RS lid Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk
  8. Congratulations Dan, that’s well deserved my friend, a nice early Christmas present:) Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk
  9. The RS PVC is a really bright white white, whereas the ABS is a lovely creamy white.... yes they are different Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk
  10. I guess at the end of the day it comes down to cost (and that’s the accountant in me speaking) .... at the end of the day we all want to dress up as plastic spacemen.... just like we all want to drive a car or ride a motorbike..... our choices are driven by our budget.... yes I would love to buy a Rolls Royce but my budget will only stretch to a Jaguar .... so it’s s jag that I drive.... armour is the same, I’m lucky, I got a good deal on RS Prop Masters armour, but I could not afford a commission so with your help I built it myself.... the thing is , this armour, at a budget price, may enable someone to achieve their dream to own stormtrooper armour at an affordable cost. To some people £800 is as cheap as chips, to others it is way out of their price range, perhaps this guy lets us all become troopers .... whatever our budget ..... Just a thought from a stormtrooper accountant Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk
  11. Fantastic armour, good luck in your EIB application.... “Next centurion think I” said in a yoda kind of way..... well that’s me banned ....lol Great looking armour [emoji4] Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk
  12. I have the same problem, can’t delete posts on here or edit them, it’s the same on some other forums I use... I guess it’s a Tapatalk issue, however another Tapatalk forum I use does allow edits and deletes .... so I’m confused Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk

  16. Firstly, congratulations on getting your RS armour, it’s great to work with and looks fantastic when completed. Forearms... left has 11 indents Right has 12 indents, The inner forearms ... right has a scoop on the inside, where your elbow goes, it’s also longer than the outer piece ... also the front cover strip fits on the ridge , which makes it stand out more, the back of the armour doesn’t have ridges Biceps.... the left inside bicep has the dint in it , the right inside doesn’t have a dint Shoulder bells.... the left shoulder Bell is the one that has the little curve at the bottom of the raised ridge, the curved bit faces forward Left thigh trimmed, right thigh un-trimmed The greaves/ shins are the same for the left and right leg This was my RS armour when I got it And this is what it can end up like Hope this helps, any more questions, just ask Cheers Stephen Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk

I realise you are all very busy this time of year and I truly appreciate you taking time out to do this. As I have previously said I could not have got this far without FISD and the UKG. You are all amazing people. Thank you A very happy Stephen Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk
  19. Have a look at the build threads on here, like you, I thought that I couldn’t build my armour, but with the help, advice and support on here as well as my local garrison , I managed it, yes it took an age, yes I made mistakes, but with the help of people far more experienced than me I got through...... try before you give up, you may find that it’s easier than you think.... just a thought.... Good luck with your deathtrooper [emoji3] Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk
