  1. I built mine in the back of my garage on a 4’x2’ table which to be fair was way too big, could easily have don’t it on half the size [emoji3] Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk

  3. Finally got my induction on Sunday [emoji3]... it’s been a long time coming .... but it’s worth the wait [emoji3] We built our armour at the same time mate, got EIB and Centurion at the same time.... you have done shed loads of troops.... me.... diddly squat.... lol Seriously Dan... you are an inspiration, reading your log reinforced what I’ve missed. 5. A few years ago a guy I know bought a set of Rossi race leathers from China, the price was £150, to buy them from a Dainese shop would cost £1,300 to £1,500 Needless to say.... we in the biking community warned him before the purchase... he thought hay... might as well.... what he got was unbelievable.... in a bad way... If the deal is too good to be true.... it isn’t a deal... it’s a scam Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk
  6. Good luck. Your armour looks fantastic and symmetrical in a really nice way. I love it [emoji3] Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk
  7. Congratulations and welcome to EIB... centurion next [emoji3] Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk
  8. This is how i did mine.. hope it helps (The scoop I took out of the left forearm was purely to aid movement... some do that, others don’t) Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk
  9. Thanks for the instructions Christine Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk
  10. Like the mannequin Christine, what a good idea Build is looking great, those magnetic closures are a pain to build but absolutely fantastic to use, I’m so glad I copied your idea Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk
  11. Congratulations Luc, nice armour you have, a few tweaks and we will see you at Centurion Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk
  12. Welcome to the forum mate, and good luck with your armour, whatever you do. I’m an armour building novice, having only recently completed my TK armour. I can confirm first hand that the guys n gals on here are both very knowledgable and very helpful regarding all aspects of building a costume. I can also confirm and this is from someone with no prior knowledge of ABS that the repairs are indeed very simple to undertake, heck even I can do it, so it must be simple . Welcome, good luck in your quest for armour and ask any questions, someone will have the answer, oh and remember..... the only daft question is a question that’s not asked..... we have all been there not knowing what we were doing at some point .... 15. Congratulations Julian, your armour looks amazing , must admit I love the clean lines of the TM armour as much as I love the wonky ness of my RS armour. Welcome to the ranks Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk Pro
  16. And then Centurion:) I think my next project may well be a blaster, my current one came with my kit .... I fancy doing one with sound and light.... but we can’t troop with them in the U.K... don’t know why Good luck with EIB Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk Pro
  17. Beautiful set of armour that fits you perfectly. Congratulations on your approval, EIB next? Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk Pro
  18. Good luck with your application Josh, your armour is amazing. Centurion next Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk
  19. Hi Rui, You have a beautiful set of RS armour there. I would suggest that you drop the right forearm a bit, maybe 0.5 to 1cm so that the gap at the elbow is the same as the left It would also make the cuff of the right glove match the one on the left I’m being really picky, but the elastic on the butt plate on the right hand side may need to be tightened slightly so as to pull the right edge closer to the kidney armour. Good luck with your application, your armour fits you well [emoji3] Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk
  20. Congratulations on your approval Andrew, you have a beautiful set of RS armour which fits you perfectly. As the guys say, EIB next and then Centurion
  21. Wow Chris, that's a fantastic read and achievement too. Great pics too ..... just can't wait for my first outing. Love the idea of the troop diary, I bet when you look through it, Andrew this thread too, it brings back some wonderful memories.
  22. Hopefully we are getting things in place for help with my mum, if that's sorted, then I have booked on the VW day induction on 13th May in Buckinghamshire, its further than I would normally travel, just under 4 hours, but it's really easy to get to, M6, M5 and then M4
