  1. Welcome Rob, ATA Makes a great kit! If you haven done so I would start by reading this section here! You’ll find just about everything you think of when it comes to getting started and your armor needs! Speaking of armor needs our fellow Trooper and Deployment Office justjoseph63 has put together a great and very useful checklist of what you’ll need other then that amazing white shiny stuff. I found that personally it came in extremely helpful for my build. Once that has been all decided upon then I would dive into our EIB / Centurion sections and find out which a little extra effort you can get on screen accuracy. Hope that helps point you in the right direction, I know its a ton of information and a good size financial commitment so if any other questions come up feel free to ask. Its why we’re here “ Troopers helping Troopers” Best of luck in your journey.
  2. Welcome to FISD, as everyone has already stated research is key.
  3. Spec Ops or not keep us updated with this build as it looks awesome!!
  4. Welcome Matt, Any questions feel free to ask!
  5. Amazing job getting all the print lines out of your blaster!! In reference to your calf's, the biggest issue I see is they're not closed, and as Glen said its up to your deployment officer but I would address that.
  6. Looks as if everyone is pointing you in the right direction for sure. I would also check out this page ! It has everything you'll need to reach your goal, and who knows you may just be the one that gets us to 1000.
  7. Welcome Sebastian to FISD! Your ahead of most as the boots & helmet are the easiest to get a hold of. Best of luck on your journey.

  11. Welcome Jimmy, the first place I would start is here. https://www.whitearmor.net/forum/forum/38-getting-started-read-this-first/ this will give you a ton of information on What to expect and where to find what you’ll need. I would also star reading the different build threads especially this one as I know I’ve referred to it many of times and Tony has done a masterful job detailing his build step by step, good luck on your journey.
  12. Hi Carsten, Thanks for your application for EIB and helping us continue towards our goal of 1000 EIB Troopers ! CRL and EIB Application Requirements All required photos are now in and, after review, we are pleased to welcome you to Expert Infantry rank. On behalf of the DO team and myself, many congratulations! Other-Armor Fit/Assembly In this area we review observations made by your fellow troopers and the DO team. Some observations may lead to suggestions to improve the overall look of your armor. Note that we consider both text (CRL) and pictures (screen caps/reference images) when reviewing submissions With all apps we like to start from the top down, lets get started. First off I want to say great job on making the suggested changes, your "I got this" attitude really paid off. The only suggestion I could make would be your ear placement. Honestly this is one of the most overlooked parts of a build. Most are concerned with the fit and trying to get the gap to a minimum and tend to line the ear up with the seam to cover the rivets but you'll notice that the should be in line with the template traps. Reference Photos Next we'll move down to your shoulders. I'd like to see you try to get the tops of your bells touching your shoulder straps. I would start by trimming the return edge and tighten up the top strap a bit, that should get them to sit better. Reference Photo Next would be you belt boxes, Looks as if a bit of E-6000 is needed. Take a the first photo and you'll see how it hangs exactly as it should but then you'll also see how it tends to shift a bit. A little dab of E 6000 would have that staying perfectly aligned. Reference Photo Centurion Requirements In this section we prepare you for Centurion. More photos may be requested in the future that allow us to make better decisions on possible adjustments. If there are any areas of concern they will be discussed here. Because Centurion photos show much more detail than EIB, items to pertaining to Centurion might be seen there and not here. We try to point out all that we can from what is seen, but the final accuracy is the responsibility of the trooper. Just like before we'll start from the top down. First up on your helmet is your Vocoder. Unfortunately, since the vocoder on your helmet is a separate piece and not molded into the helmet itself it cannot pass at Centurion level. Although not yet added to the CRL, this issue was voted on and approved last November. Here is the link: https://www.whitearmor.net/forum/topic/48294-proposed-amendment-to-ot-anhesbrotjhwt-etc-crls-helmetvocoder-detail/ Separate vocoder Reference Photo Onto your shoulder bells I think once you trim away the return edge on the bells this will help alot. There should be a minimal gap between the shoulder armor and the chest/back plates. Reference Photos Onto your Ab buttons Ab button paint shall not extend beyond the bottom of the actual raised button. No separate buttons are allowed. And the last thing on the list to touch on would be your kidney plate to ab. This should be an easy fix as it looks like you might need to do some more filling and a little repainting will do the trick. Ideally there no gap between the abdomen and kidney armor. Abdominal and Kidney Plate align horizontally at top. A single visible seam line is present. You've done an amazing job with the fix's you've made so far and I have no doubt that you can do it again to reach Centurion. Congratulations Trooper and welcome to EIB!
  13. Funny what little changes make....... We’ll have you at EIB in no time!
  14. Looking forward to it, and I’m not sure if we have the EIB rocker patches left but I might have an extra.
  15. Carsten, Along with the paint on the frown or teeth area that gmrhodes13 pointed out the rear left calf will have to be fixed prior to going any further, as this is a requirement for Basic. The cover strip edge shall be facing the inside of the leg.
  16. Happy New Year Katie, Thanks for your patience and you application for EIB with your Phasma, it's always great to see fellow troopers taken that extra step! I wanted to take a little extra time and get some input from my fellow D.O's CRL and EIB Application Requirements All required photos are now in and, after review, we are pleased to welcome you to Expert Infantry rank. On behalf of the DO team and myself, many congratulations! Other-Armor Fit/Assembly In this area we review observations made by your fellow troopers and the DO team. Some observations may lead to suggestions to improve the overall look of your armor. Note that we consider both text (CRL) and pictures (screen caps/reference images) when reviewing submissions. The first thing that stands out and is more of a dress issue is your shoulder gaskets. I know it's mostly covers with the cape and it could just be from movement from all the photos. Just be mindful of it bunching up. Reference Photo Looks as if the same issue is on the arm/elbow joints as well. It seems to me that the gasket material might be a little big causing the problem. You'll see in the reference photo how its almost form fitting, then again I know we walk a fine line between fitting and functionality. Again just be mindful when dressing. Reference Photos Centurion Requirements In this section we prepare you for Centurion. You have an amazing build and honestly the only thing that really sticks out and I hate to keep going back to it would be the fit of your arms. I would start with the gaskets first maybe have them taken in a bit and see if that makes the difference, (it looks as it should) I'm posting screen grabs and the Vanity Fair shoot and you'll see what i'm referring to. Reference Photos Again you have an amazing build with a top notch finish and it looks as if your build had Centurion in mind from the start. Just a couple minor tweaks and your there. - congrats, see you at Centurion.
  17. Hi Katie! As Joseph said sorry for the delay. And as you said between Christmas parades and now ROS premieres it’s been a whirlwind. Looks like i have all I need and plan on starting tonight and hopefully up for review with my other DO’s by weekends end! It’s a pretty aggressive schedule and hopefully Darth Real life doesn’t interrupt. Thanks again for your patience and we’ll talk soon!
  18. As long as they have a black sole and are completely white I don’t see an issue with them. The harder part may be keeping the elastic webbing white but if the did it for the original trilogy I see no reason it can’t be done now.
  19. Hey Ian, First off welcome to FISD. There is a ton of information to start gathering and I would start with our getting started forum . This will be the first of many rabbit holes you dig into, but fear not we're here to help. Good luck with your research!
  20. Hi Andrew, Thanks for your application for centurion its always great to see your fellow troopers taking their armor to our highest level. CRL and Centurion Application Requirements All required photos are now in and, after review, we are pleased to welcome you to Centurion! On behalf of the DO team and myself, many congratulations! Other-Armor Fit/Assembly In this area we discuss areas that could benefit from additional improvement. Note that we consider both text (CRL) and pictures (screen caps/reference images) when reviewing submissions Great job on the Drop box fix, The only thing I want to point out your sniper knee. I know this was brought up and addressed in your EIB application but I'd like to suggest one more piece of advise if I may? The top of your sniper knee could use a bit more trimming. take a look at the attached photo vs the reference photo and you'll see that it should follow the same line without a step. Reference Photo That should do it, I'd like to end with acknowledging the great job done with all the adjustments made prior to your application. The difference in your helmet is night & day! Congratulations Trooper and welcome to the ranks of Centurion!
  21. Hi Denis, Thanks for your application for Centurion, always great to see your fellow troopers go for our highest level! CRL and Centurion Application Requirements All required photos are now in and, after review, we are pleased to welcome you to Centurion! On behalf of the DO team and myself, many congratulations! Other-Armor Fit/Assembly In this area we discuss areas that could benefit from additional improvement. Note that we consider both text (CRL) and pictures (screen caps/reference images) when reviewing submissions. And just like your EIB application we'll work from the top down. Lets start by taken a look at the traps on your helmet. I'm not sure if its the angle & lighting but it seams to be creeping up over the radius edges. Take a look at the photo of yours vs the screen used bucket and you'll see what i'm referencing. Reference Photos Next up well move on to your shoulders. Great job on taken Josephs advise you really got them where they need to be. What I'm talking about is the alignment of your right bicep to help you get that right up against your chest armor. While dressing just do a double check that the raised ridge on the bicep is lined up with the ridge on the shoulder, this should bring them in that last bit to give you that just stepped out of the Imperial Propaganda Poster look. Reference Photo I'll also point out that it looks as if you could use to pull up/down on your sleeves a bits as well or it might have gotten caught on the elbow. Again just a quick once over before stepping out into the Emperors Lineup . Lastly I'm going to point out your calves and again its just a simple alignment and making sure you look your absolute best and ready for Lord Vader's Inspection. The right one is spot on but the left could be in a little bit. Again its a simple look in the mirror or having your handler giving you a once over to make sure everything is in place. Reference Photo That should do it, great job on making the adjustment that your fellow troopers called out, the smallest detail can make a huge difference, congratulations & welcome to Centurion Trooper.
