  1. Like I said, it's super subtle. I don't have a drawing program, but look at the left eye (your view) on the bottom. See how it curves down, instead of swoops down like the right? That's a recreation of the bump seen on the OTTTK's. You can see how it's fatter than the right eye if you look at the shaded portion.
  2. Daetrin, the bump on the helmet's eye, should be reworded to "located on the wearer's right eye." When I said left, I meant from the viewer's left. I already saw someone adding a bump to the wearer's left eye, caused from confusion.
  3. If you want to sell one, I can take it off your hands!
  4. Any within the $20-$30 dollar range?
  5. Also need one for a good price, and on time for Halloween.
  6. My family is pretty upset at China's bad delivery service, so they've kind of become chine-shipping-nazis if you will. Any U.S. sources?
  7. Hey, where did you get your flashlight? I can't find a suitable one on Scheels. Was it cheap?
  8. Update 3: Fixed the 2 middle boxes to be thinner and less fat. Did so by cutting off the middle sides, and replacing with extra plastic so there's more of an opening. Also got the thigh ammo belt trimmed up (unlike in the above photo) and e6000'd to the thigh. Hopefully this should all come together as I have planned. Not only that, but I revised the overall shape of the thigh at the top and the bottom, so it's less angular and more curved and smooth like the screen used. And here's a quick mock up. And here's my thighs. I made them close in the back with velcro for 2 reasons; For accuracy (they close in the back in the film), and so that as I get fitter, I can adjust it.
  9. Ok sweet. Now to find a cheap tactical flashlight at Scheels....
  10. Hey, for basic does it matter if I use a non specific tactical flashlight on my e11?
  11. Update: Recieved my butt and thigh ammo belt from Walt's Trooper Factory. So while I'm trying to figure out what make's certain threads grab a lot of attention xD, here's some pics of the thigh ammo belt on the thigh. A little more trimming obviously, but hopefully it'll work. In the CRL it doesn't say anything about not using rivets, so I might just go that route.
  12. This is exciting! Thanks for letting me contribute And to everyone else that worked so hard to get the developement rolling, you guys did outstanding! Actually, I can't believe how fast the FOTK Executioner CRL was put together
  13. Alright so I had a test fit with most of my armor today. Note: My abdomen is actually an 850 Armor Works Shoretrooper ab. I took For Sale Signs and used those as extensions at the sides so they'd meet. However, I'm concerned about the fact that I used For Sale Sign plastic, which if I recall correctly is Styrene plastic (I thought I heard that somewhere). Since they are the extensions, and my closure at the sides is on a velcro overlap system, should I be worried about the armor breaking on me or being of low quality? Also, per another member's suggestion, I slimmed down the width of the 2 middle belt boxes, so it better has the look. The belt isn't done yet, but once I get it and the drop boxes painted, along with the rear belt sorted, it should be good.
  14. *********FIRST POST IS UPDATED WITH MY ALMOST FULL TUTORIAL!!!!!!*********
  15. I will soon Luckily I still have the progress pictures, so I'll upload those in due time. I can do it today actually if you need it sooner.
  16. Yup, Wobani (not to be confused with Wasabi). And awesome! I don't want to be looking like I rolled around in the mud, but rather a cross between dirty and clean, so lightly. Also I meant to let you know, but the bump on the eye is actually in the wearer's right side. When I said left, I meant the viewer's left. My bad.
  17. Awesome. Daetrin, are we still including the optional weathering section? I ask because my trooper is in the painting process, and I'd like to lightly add some black weathering to resemble a more cleaner version of the trooper on the mining colony. I need this so I can hide some mistakes I don't want to repaint.
  18. Going insane..... So it's about high time I started my own build thread, what with the CRL coming out and all. So here we go... Real early mock up, seeing it's not painted, but that'll come soon...
  19. The end boxes are Jim Tripon shore trooper boxes for the belt, made of fiberglass, and the 4 center boxes are plastic from 850 Armor Works. I'm concerned about the middle boxes not being accurate enough, do you think they'd pass basic?
  20. I'll be making my build thread soon, but I threw together this belt with some boxes that came with a Shoretrooper box I got. For basic approval, do you guys think it'll pass? I know it doesn't have exact boxes in the middle, like being skinny in the middle, but this is what I had on hand and after viewing the draft for the CRL, it looks like it'll be alright. Note I haven't attached the drop boxes yet.
  21. So how are you dealing with cracks? I have a crack at a crucial point on my back armor at the shoulder strap slots. Without reconstruction, how do I repair it? Per the maker's advice, I put Gorilla Glue Epoxy on underneath it, and I additionally put some in the crack. Did I do this right? So here's the slot before the epoxy. You can't see the actual crack, but it's at the bottom corner of that slot. It was big enough when I bent it back for a needle to fit into. It curves into the hollowed section. I'm trying to avoid any reconstruction of any sort that involves sculpting.
  22. If you need some, I can help out. I've got the helmet, chest and back armor/shoulders, and legs almost done. The legs need finishing, but the first mentioned are about good to go.
  23. I guess if it's not a scam it's fine, but because most sellers sell recast armor, I'd reccomend getting your money back.
  24. That's great news Soulart! Btw, it was amazing to hear that you went to personally see this kid outside of official events. This, THIS is why we're called "Bad guys doing good." We comfort those who are discomforted when facing illnesses that are potentially life threatening. Give Declan a hi for us will you?
  25. I never made the connection (no pun intended) that the overlap on the biceps is a septette connection from the artificial seam in the front.
