  1. Gmrmodes, you were talking about not beind able to flip an image because it wasn't absolutely straight. Here's one, would you be able to work with this one? I think we need this split in half, and then you can mirror the same side onto the other, then vice versa. That way we see both eye's and their symmetry.
  2. Add we can: Baton: -Is attached to the holster, with the striking end pointed upwards, while the handle section is pointed down. -Holster will not be elaborate, but rather, a simple yet secure design. -Chrome finished or shining objects of any sorts will not be present on either baton or holster. -Holster is located at the very end of the rear belt section, where the front belt section meets. Also to answer the question why the baton would have a cubic striking section to begin with, I believe it shares a similar design to the Imperial Ground Crew wands, which have rectangular sections, with a spherical handle, like the baton. However, this design for a riot baton still is beyond me, maybe if someone has a blu-ray HD shot of this scene, and could brighten the shot?
  3. So I need to recreate the cover strips for the R1TK from scratch, and the edges needed to be beveled. To achieve this effect, I need thick plastic. Anyone know where I can grab a product that's made out of thick plastic at a hardware store (Ace, Menards, Hobby Lobby, etc...)? I know how to achieve the bevel, it just needs to be thick plastic.
  4. Dude that looks great! Thank you very much for that!
  5. Hey Slyfox, would you be able to photoshop the riot baton pic for us? I don't have a program to do so.
  6. That's actually not a bad idea. That could be a good way to carry the baton.
  7. Here's the best image I got. I unfortunately didn't get to making a holster, but I reckone one could make one out of nylon strapping with a snap attached to the exterior of it.
  8. Meh, maybe they did something different. We never know.
  9. If you watch the scene where the prisoner transport door explodes, you can see the baton dangle side to side with a stationary rectangular shape behind it.
  10. Daetrin, did you see my point on the coverstrips 8 minutes ago? Haha, this thread's pretty active right now xD
  11. I shall get them to you tomorrow
  12. It was also very unique to the Deathtrooper and Shoretrooper, but the first wave of approved troops had flat edge strips. In fact the early Jimmoroqui costumes had these if memory serves me.
  13. It looks like there is a black sleeve behind the baton that the belt loops through. Part of me wants to go the route of attaching a snap to the black sleeve and the baton itself.
  14. Also, I made this TK riot baton based off of the limited reference we have of the screen used baton in the prison/Imperial Labor Camp transport scenes. Would this be useful for the optional weapons accesory's section? Here are the images it's based off of.
  15. Daetrin, did you see my previous post? I only ask because I'm wrapping up my build and my strips are like this.
  16. Daetrin, would it be possible we could make the beveled edges on tge coverstrips Lvl 2? The Deathtrooper CRL has flat edge coverstrips on the model and it's approvable. Plus making beveled edges is dificult and tedious to make perfect.
  17. Yes, the hole on the backarmor is on all troopers. Even the Hot Toys version has the hole featured.
  18. Gmrmodes, do you have a drawing program where you can trace the shape of the eyes, so that others can see it better?
  19. | | Mirror: V Regular non mirror: V Oh Daetrin, here's the proof of the bump on the eye. Do you see it?
  20. I absolutely agree. Not sure why no one is even looking at that thread. I for one am very thankful for all your reference images because they helped greatly in the modification of my Doopydoos blaster for Rogue One.
  21. I don't believe that the 501st ever writes down on the CRL page who wrote the CRL, unfortunately.
  22. Here look at the trooper on the left. Look at his eye in comparison to the trooper closest to the camera. One closest to the camera has a swoop eye shape, while the one at the left has a curve shape on the bottom. That one's a mirror of a regular trooper.
  23. Do you have an editing program that can flip the image into a mirror?
  24. Can someone make a mirror version of this pic that Morgul brought up? You should see it then
