  1. I need to get my butt out there and troop with you guys too. Maybe this summer.
  2. Glad to see that [TK] badge there, now on to EI and Centurion.
  3. This is what I used, lots of others use it as well: https://www.amazon.com/NOVUS-7100-Plastic-Polish-Kit/dp/B002UCYRZU
  4. You can put the pieces back together, but it will be a lot of work - I would suggest you get new parts (see Option B). If you decide to go this route, you will need to reinforce the inside with either more ABS or some sign plastic, then use ABS paste to fill in the gaps on the outside. Then sand and polish 'til it looks like it never happened. Here's a tutorial on making ABS paste: Option B is to contact whoever made your armor kit and inquire on how much some new forearms would cost. May be easier, if more expensive. Good luck either way trooper. EDIT: I see you have an Anovos kit, they unfortunately do not sell replacement parts. ATA or WTF are a good match. Good luck!
  5. Looks a lot better. Worth the frustration IMO.
  6. You aren't supposed to be helmet-off around cameras on official troops unless you have a good reason (interview, emergencies, etcetera). Unofficial troops, 501st group photos and the like don't count of course.
  7. Germain's PDF should call out the correct hardware and decals? It's included with the print files:
  8. Iā€™d see what the DOs make of it. Paging Tony or Andrew?
  9. Just because they donā€™t care doesnā€™t we donā€™t have to.
  10. For approval it doesn't matter, but screen accurate is tan on one side.
  11. You could try contacting one of the vendors and seeing if they offer it, I know KB Props will sell you finished helmets but unsure about armor.
  12. I have not, I'll live with the bumps. I'll give it a try on my FOTK.
  13. I'm actually beginning to wonder if it's just the strain of the plate/snaps on the thin Anovos armor after all, if it goes away.
  14. The hand plates will, you'll need rubber gloves though. Not nomex.
  15. Hmm. Well, I would check after the bulk update is supposed to occur and if your affiliation still is incorrect then post here and the DO or someone else with access would have to fix it manually. Hopefully it doesn't come to that.
  16. Do you have the exact same email address for here and the Legion forums? If not that could be why the bulk update is missing you.
  17. Caps closer to the edges is actually more accurate according to Germain, you could leave those caps on if you wanted.
  18. If I may add, you'll want to make sure to use actual nylon and not the polyester webbing junk they sell at Jo-Ann's/Michaels, some users here have noted a pinkish discoloration/staining of plastic with it.
