  1. The owner of this website (www.stitchkingdom.com) does not allow hotlinking to that resource
  2. Magazine Release Button Install Drill out larger hole for the spring. Unfortunately I drilled straight through and had to use molding puddy to reshape. It works!! It may need another filling here and there but overall I'm happy with the fit. Looks like the original nut which protrudes 1/3
  3. Yes, the mag release is functional using button, spring & oval nut. I'm just finishing the cleanup on the housing and will post pics soon.
  4. It's the principal. I guarantee they will examine the helmet before sending it off to me again... they are sending me a fedex return label as well.
  5. Aerator socket is on my bathroom faucet... Oh is that what the cool kids are calling it these days. lol
  6. Stock Hinge I drilled a 8mm hole into the DD's stock pivot and inserted a heavy wall aluminum hobby tube. The holes on the stock are exactly 8mm and using a small hammer I was able to pressure fit the stock to my new aluminum tube. I will epoxy the original rivets back on the finish the look.
  7. Original Stock Locking Mechanism Since I'm using the original stock I painstakingly filed out the front of the barrel to accept the stock fastener. Once the stock was inserted for the final fit... the resin piece snapped right off. So I filed out more... measured the locking position of the stock and marked an outline for an aluminum insert to aid in securing the front locking mechanism.
  8. I'll wait all day long for the quality I paid for. Still waiting for the FO FN kit so what's the difference really.
  9. Anovos has agreed to give me a replacement due to the gap in the Vocoder.
  10. Upon close inspection? Where are they silver or aluminum? I'm confused. I wouldn't try to reinvent the wheel. There is a reason why 99% of helmet builds are painted.
  11. This is identical to mine.
  12. Try Novus. It can restore plastic to a smooth finish. I've used it on fish tanks and antique car vinyl windows. worth a try.
  13. Merry Christmas and have a happy and safe new year! May the force be with you!!!
  14. The lens are not very clear by any means...
  15. I DO LIKE the front venting system. This was a huge surprise. Reminds me of a scuba regulator venting system.
  16. Wow! That's bad! I must have the mint condition version. My seams are ok and the mesh seam is barely noticeable. You need a replacement my friend.
  17. Received mine today... not bad! Looks accurate and similar to the prototype on the website. The hard hat strapping fits nice. Only cons would be the distorted vision and some light abrasions on the base of the helmet, and center front. Any thoughts from members with first run fiberglass costumes to compare too.
  18. need close ups to be sure. The front grip looks big to me.
  19. You asked for plenty of pictures... Besides you'll need many different angles and closeups to complete an accurate prop. Let me know if you need more. Unfortunately, the focal point was all over the map because I only had my zoom lens with me. I'm literally standing 4 feet away from the display case. I will bring the macro lens next time and focus on the details that I missed. cheers!
  20. cheers my white armored brother....
  21. Macrobinoculars: [/url
  22. Thanks Ian!!! Slow and steady...
  23. Scope Lens Install: Installing the eye lens from T-Jay's completion kit and objective lens I obtained from Twnbrother. Objective Lens: I know these are for the m38/40 and the retention ring on the m19 is bigger, but I still decided to cut off the resin portion and screw/glue the entire objective lens assembly in the scope. Looks much cleaner. The alternative was to disassemble the objective lens and use only the glass and retaining ring.
