  1. You didn't try to give him corrective criticism and or return his "Most accurate blaster" though. I simply offered a bit of blaster research and gave him the address to FISD and Vern's blaster website so he could pursue his ultimate goal. Just trying to help the fella.

  4. Maybe the NE and AM1.0 had more return edge, but there is not enough return edge on the AM2.0 kidney and butt plate to safely drill and attach the wire brackets without failure.
  5. Thanks Eric for your service over the last year.
  6. Yes, but you can damage the plasti dip finish during the assembly process. It can chip/scrape very easy.
  7. Plasti Dip is very easy to work will. Cleanup is similar to e6000. I had over spray on my frown and eyes and the took a clean rag and it rubs right off.
  8. AM2 is OK
  9. I would assume using snaps would be more durable with extensive use. Keep in mind the screw heads are visible on the underside of the chest plate and back/kidney plates and you risk pulling through the plastic. It's cool because it's original and if you're restoring a car to original condition, that's what you do. I guess the TM armor fits the bill. Good luck with your decision!
  10. FYI... Our servers are experiencing outages. Emergency maintenance is underway. Look here for updates. Sorry for the inconvenience!
  11. Great job Terry!! Looking forward to getting a kit myself.
  12. the ban has been lifted for US units, rest of world to follow.
  13. You can't mention 1977 Americana without thinking of music group The Eagles and their chart topping "Hotel California" Not to mention the catalog of other hits. Another legendary musical talent and childhood memory in heaven now. RIP Glenn Frey.
  14. Shouldn't the title be related to Vader not EU? That's a stoner laugh all the way...
  15. I had the same issue with the TM helmet. It helps to look at the back side of each piece, for a more accurate trim line. In most cases, I trimmed using the back side mold lines instead of the front. I agree with Lorenzo, trim/file the head opening after the helmet is riveted together, to assure that both sides of the seam match in size and shape.
  16. Why a mismatched set Anovos/AM2.0? I would stick with the same sculptor if possible, and just buy the helmet kit first. The tone and gloss will vary from armor to armor and will never match. Am 2.0 (cooler) vs TM (warmer)
  17. Now Mathias, please be polite to our dinner guests or no dessert for you.
  18. What is the status, considering January 7th has come and gone?
  19. Thanks!! I will make sure to add that 4th detail.
  20. Tension Spring: Using the wire including in Tino's finish kit and my jewelry ring sizing tool, I wrapped the wire around the size 7-6 mark.
  21. Safety/Auto Switch Instead of using a small finish nail, i decided to use an old wood screw for the switch post, which will be drilling through the aluminum trigger inserts
  22. Trigger Assembly Part #2. Fine tuning the fit. almost there. I will need to remove more resin underneath to make flush with sides.
  23. inner only. the image below should help out with the basic positioning. good luck!
