  1. Staples, Meijer, Target, Walmart ... you get them in the Office section.
  2. That helmet looks like it's made by LEGO
  3. I guess all that matters is if you like it.
  4. Right on Lucas! AP lids are pretty tight in general, and once you put the neck trim on ... it's even harder to put it on.
  5. Just take your time and center everything. Place where you want the belt to sit and put tape along the edges as markers. Then center your holes. If your snaps aren't centered, measure how far they are from the top and mark that based on the tape markers you put down.
  6. Silence ... just stare at them and say nothing. Creeps people out. BTW, I'm also 5' 7".
  7. Trooperbay has belts. You need canister belt clips to attach the detonator to your belt. --------
  8. Yeah, it give the paint something to bite into ... use a fine grit 400 or higher. I highly recommend using Rustoleum's plastic primer first. All you need is a light dusting, don't coat it like you would the paint.
  9. I have two of these on the way!
  10. Oh no!
  11. Holy cow! I can't believe how large your old lid is! Never saw them side by side like that, what a difference! J
  12. How to make Thermal Detonator Belt Clips - Tutorial Part One: --------- FYI, I also take trades for my parts.
  13. Man I want a TM suit
  14. I never noticed that before... but I've always been more of an ANH lid man myself. Good to know though!
  15. I don't know ... it just looked like all out of proportion... like an FX or something. I'll have to look again.
  16. It's nice having the main features in BluRay... for certain. And some of the bonus footage and documentaries are cool. But honestly... I was hoping for more in the costume and prop flip through sections. The only TK related piece (that I've seen thus far) was of Luke's ANH TK torso armor. And there was a video tour of their current prop/costume library, where they passed by some weird looking TK lid that wasn't even a screen used prop. It was more like some awful repro of a TK lid, by some costume manufacturer... it was strange. But like I said, there lots of other extras to appreciate with the box set.
  17. Totally up to you man. I've done it on some helmets before, others not so much.
  18. Best to let it dry and try and rub it off with your thumb. But like Kevin said, lens material isn't that expensive. Try Trooperbay.com or cut a green face shield to size. J
  19. Nice work!
