My ABS armor kit has shipped!

I just couldn't swing the extra cash for a new one, so for now I'll be using the one I have. I would like a clean one though.

I've used silicone calk ... like for bathtubs n stuff. You just have to let it set fully, but it holds very well.

It's not the choice in armor so much as dropping that much cash all at once. I'm sure I'll love it, no doubt there. Even though it's money I made on the side by selling my old suit, a TE2 helmet, and making TK parts. There's always that question "am I doing the right thing?" You know? I do know my Wife would be upset if I just sold my armor simply for the cash. But I also have three little girls to think about.

I didn't specify which I wanted ... Still on the fence. I'm seeing/hearing great things about the PVC though.

I think they made stencils with masking tape (or frisket) for each helmet. The number of stripes varied on a lot of the helmets. So I would be surprised if they used the same stencil for many of them.

There's a small black plastic pin in the clip towards the back... You have to knock that out 1st... Then the little see saw like part comes out, revealing two small screws... One screw holds the clip there, while the other one holds the end cap on... I believe it's the one closest to the end cap.

I once owned a MR blaster, and I currently own a deac sterling. They are very close as far as the weight. I did modify my MR blaster before selling it, by installing some real sterling parts (below). Once I finished my Sterling conversion, I just didn't really care. it's original State
