  1. It's inset a ways, so it's hard to tell unless you remove it.
  2. They even have the flowery looking ones! If you REALLY want to be screen accurate!? Although the heads appear to be a little small.
  3. Is PVC stronger than ABS?
  4. Yeah MTK or ATA. Maybe even ask if they have any B-Grade kits available?
  5. I think just the torso is ROTJ... The rest looks very ANH to me.
  6. MTK makes, assembles, and paints sandy lids. I don't know what you're idea of "cheap" is ... But it would be an option. Other than that, I would suggest buying an ATA kit and building/painting it. The second way is more fun. J
  7. I don't see much difference other than they're taller... And new looking.
  8. They are in the ROTJ section on StarWars Helmets.com ... ROTJ Helmets used more than one style/kind of Mic Tip. Also, some of the ROTJ helmets were reconditioned ESB helmets, so they still had the HOVI style tips. The metal ones were shaped like this:
  9. Could they provide some samples? ROTJ: HOVI Mic Tips
  10. The helmets that still had HOVIs in them did. The rest ... I don't think so because they were a different design. The screens were heavier gauge than the ANH HOVIs.
  11. Novus plastic cleaner and polish seems to be the polish of choice around here... But some use car polish.
  12. Is that Ian Brown!?
  13. Hey guys, Do any of you own a screen accurate pair of Vader Boots? I need some photos taken for a 3D project I'm working on. Jess
  14. Oh, my cat was there too! Although, he didn't help out much. He just sort of sat there and stared at me.
  15. I had a thermal detonator parts making party ... But I'm the only one that showed up.
  16. Ah the magic of chemistry
  17. I took a photo (and traced) my SiMan helmet padding ... originally I did it to make accurate padding for my Mini Stormtrooper helmet. But the original (or full scale) is 17" across.
  18. I would be concerned about discoloration with most cleaners.
  19. Rinse with water, dry off, and use novus plastic cleaner. I would recommend you get yourself some microfiber towels to finish the job.
