Can't wait to see it all finished! EDIT: Have you considered seperating the cod peice from the ab? The seam you make would be covered by your belt and will allow you some flexability. When you are trooping it pays to be able to bend over (even a bit) so you can see the kids.

Hey John! Nice to see another AM kit going! I have an AM myself. The only thing I see that you haven't mentioned already up top is your butt plate. It seems to be flying loose a little bit ( I had the same problem). I e6000'd some webbing on the very ends where the buttplate meets the kidney plate which makes it seem a little more snug but its all up to you.

Where do you live? I am sure if we know where you are located we could help you get in contact with a maker near you. I found one that lives 20 mins away from me, drove out to meet him and had the armor the same day!

http://forum.whitear...showtopic=11538 That has the list of most of the known types/sellers of armor. I got my AM lite kit for $485, the helmet was another $125. That is around the same price as the one you found. I know its lineage, I know who it came from and I made if fit ME.

I don't know about what kind of armor this is as I am new to this whole thing too, but I recommend not buying anything ebay unless it is from someone that you know from this website. The reason I say this is that armor is already fitted for someone else, you don't know how big they are (or small they are) and they could have trimmed it to much to ever fit you right without some heavy modifications. For that price you could get a brand new kit that can be fitted for YOU. Just my 2 cents, take it how you will...

I was told that they are going to be a little taller and have a slightly more rounded toe point that will look more accurate.

Saw a post on reddit.com where a guy bought a set of armor from a guy who said he got it for $1800 . I was curious as to what type of armor this is? Actually, you can choose black or brown . And I talked with TKboots and they said it could be 8 weeks until they have my size ready and I will have my armor ready by then

If these boots don't work, does anyone have any recommendations? I am on a budget so I don't want to drop a ton of money on CA boots.
