  1. Our Garrison had an explosion of TIE pilots last year, TIE can be a bit more expensive than a TK, here is a quick breakdown: 1) Hard parts: Helmet, Chest box, Chest & Back pieces - US$500 - $800 depends on which vendor you purchase from 2) Belt, Gloves and Boots: check out Imperial Boots 3) Compad - US$15 (3d-printed locally) 4) Black Flight suit (must) & Officer Hat (optional) - US$180 (Tailored size by Eadu Armory) You need not to throw cash and don it all at once. Get the soft parts first (2 3 4) and registered as a "TIE Reserve Pilot" with your garrison and start trooping, after that you can slowly build the hard parts and upgrade to a full TIE Pilot.
  2. Nice. Just watch out your left side shin sitting a tiny bit lower than the right. Nothing a bit of foam padding can't solve. Did the cat approves?
  3. This. Standard for our Garrison's TK. Make sure you order "L" size.
  4. Nice read. Will circulate within our Garrison.
  5. Congratulations Trooper. Welcome to EIB, Get those fixes done and see you at the ranks of Centurion!
  6. As Glen said. Lore-wise, maybe yes, but let's stick to the CRL for this one. You can still wear a Pauldron to un-offical events (non-Disney / LFL) as of many of us do, but the ultimate decision should be made by your Garrison command staff if Pauldrons are allowed.
  7. Thank you very much Dan, I will do all the suggested changes in preparation for Centurion review. The warping was something I didn't expected. I thought I took the necessary precautions to prevent this (by pressing the metal snap with a solder iron into the plastic tab) but obviously it was not working. I don't think there is anything I can do about it at this time, or maybe I will order a replacement plate from TM in the not so near future. A hard lesson learned here.
  8. Fast turn around, can build into a robust suit for trooping. If you are not ultra OCB on getting your suit 100% screening accurate, MTK is a good enough for a frequent trooper. (My first TK suit is a MTK)
