  1. Hello Jonathan, My 2 cents, just as the guys said above it’s not going to be cheap. But you can start by combing through all the recent built threads on this forum first, this will certainly take you some time, but after that you will be fairly familiar with all the tricks and the get-arounds for building a TK costume. Use this extra time to save up, and check out our buy and sell section on a regular basis, you might be able to find a pre-owned but not yet build kit for a little less than what it cost originally (sometimes people just let them go due to lack of time to start a project or other issues). Planing and actually building a costume till it’s ready to troop will takes months (if not years, from somome I know from my garrison). Just a warm reminder on joining the Legion, it's not just about getting into a costume and look cool, it’s also about your love for Star Wars and to share this love with others, and while doing so, give a little back to the community (you have to be prepared to give up some time for charities and stuffs). Good luck.
  2. I will work on the modifications Joseph suggested first and get back to you guys. Thx.
  3. Ah, I see the reason now, it’s black on black, they wear the biceps low so it’s hard to tell. Thanks Glen.
  4. Thanks Glen, I was not aware of the hook (not mentioned in the CRL, like in TKC), but now you mentioned it is one of the detail I missed out. Indeed, no strap across the bells. Not on screen or the promo image.
  5. Welcome to FISD! Have fun at your troop, and take pictures.
  6. You can try label L/R with different color painters tape on the inside, it makes suit up easlier.
  7. Got some spare time tonight and tried the replacement belt on for some color test (under indoor lighting).
  8. Some pictures would help. There is always a fix if that is an issue.
  9. You won't be disappointed to go to RS for the helmet. Yes, it's a bit bumpy on the surface but don't be surprised, it retained all the good of the original found helmet. (I own a set of RS made into Sandtrooper)
  10.

    just said "I confirm" ok

    thanks

  11. Trooper assisted / items : 2) TK-36036 Grave Wong - Assemble advice since initial build - Fine trimming / General fitting during assembly - Fine tuning in preparation for EIB application
  12. Indeed, off they go. I suggest you start with the Ab plate and Kidney/Butt plate first, they are fairly straight forward cut, then put the trim on and temporarily fix them with painters tape, match the chest and back plate and see how it goes, then move on with the cut.
