  1. You can upload the pic to a photobucket/Flickr account and post a link to it.
  2. Couldn't have done better myself. Looks like you're off to a great start.
  3. I know exactly where you are coming from. I just spent the last few years accumulating Alu, Steel and electronic 2-3-2 R2 parts! My wife gave up on me years ago.
  4. To weather paint just use sandpaper. Start fine and if it's not giving the best results go coarser. Looking great mate, I've nicked a few photos for my info I send out. Hope you don't mind.
  5. Looking good troopers! Unfortunately I have never kept tabs on all the armour I have sold! I reckon There are at least 45 out there maybe a few more....... Obviously not that many have actually registered.....
  6. You know all these posts are useless without pics!
  7. I was going to say the ears could do with trimming a lot thinner but as you'd already glued them I didn't want to upset you. If you haven't glued the brow trim on you could always trim it a bit.
  8. I use satin black on the frown and chin. Gloss black for the pinstripe around the ears and gloss black for the rank stripes. Gloss grey for the ears. All Humbrol.
  9. Looks a bit better. You can take a lot more out of the frown teeth. They are cut out a lot more on Rotj compared to ANH and ESB.
  10. Looks like your off to a good start. Hard to see the details on my phones small pics. I'll have another look when I get home from the xmas visits. The eyes look great if you really cut them out quite a bit. Look at the pics I sent you or log into Starwarshelmets Com and check out Jez's pics he took for my latest review. They are spot on. You can also reinforce the mic tips at the back with a bit of cloth soaked in super glue.

  12. Petrol will take it off. Or WD40 and a lot of rubbing. If you use petrol do it outside as the fumes aren't great.
  13. it comes in 3 grades. It's specificall for plastic.
  14. Vern, you must have heard of Novus polish? It's a TK standard.
  15. Get yourself some micro mesh. It comes in 2400, 4000, 8000 & 12000 grit. It's also a cloth so it will wrap round the tube nicely. Works a treat. Then finish with novus. Otherwise your going to get swirly sanding marks all over it only going down to 600. Of course this is only what I'd do. You can get it on Amazon although I'm sure you can find it many places over there. I have seen drill attachments which will take the arm ache out of it. Good luck.
  16. Thats a first! Looks good........ Nothing I have ever thought about before... If it works for you then that's good enough for me....
  17. test bits are always the most obvious things that are overlooked........makes sense really....... good luck...:thumbsup
  18. Cut and score means you run a craft/Stanley blade down the plastic leaving a cut/score line. Then you bend the plastic back along the line and it will snap off. I'm not sure what burning tight is? I just sand the cut smooth with a fine paper. ROTJ were weathered if you are going for an Endor trooper, quite heavily weathered in some cases and some had flat stunt lenses in too.
  19. I think you'll find there more than 4 ROTJ troopers out there. I've definitely sold more than 4 They must be closset ROTJ TKs. They will come out eventually.
