  1. The first time I did that was the first time I wore them for more than a few minutes at home! They are really nice shoes
  2. I'd disagree. I've worn mine, as supplied, for 7-8 hours after spending a week walking round London and my feet didn't even register as a pain point. I've done this a couple of times.
  3. I also have IB, ordered 1 whole size up and they fit great. Very comfy too.
  4. I wasn't knocking it's an impressive feat. For reference if I put that on I'd be blind and have a mouth full of switch box!
  5. I think it's pretty much only run via facebook.
  6. I'm genuinely amazed you can fit all of that AND your head in there! That's a lot of stuff you've got in there. Very tidy.
  7. As Marc says in the UKG you are required to have a weapon for any character that carries one. This dates back to the early days of the Garrision, possibly to the pre 501st days. Though this does not mean we would not honour a request from LFL or the appropriate authorites to not carry a blaster, which has happened. The armourer system description is pretty much spot on too. The social side here is nice but I've seen it lead to bad decisions being made when people listen to the wrong person. The UKG also has quite high standards so the system helps guide the new recruit towards these to ensure consistancy.
  8. Good luck, plenty of guidance on these here.
  9. Touch harsh I feel. I quite like the new armour in a lot of ways.
  10. That's not stopped makers using vac form for both the Shoretrooper and Deathtrooper. I think they are adding the missing detail with resin parts.
  11. I which case it's probably an artifact of the forum update.
  12. That looks like an encoding issue somewhere in the pipeline. Hopefully its a problem on reading out not writing down. Without knowing the exact details of how forum works and data is stored it's hard to tell if this is fixable, hopefull the tech droid team will be able to help.
  13. Great newsletter but i think you've missed a new attachƩ hint hint
  14. I really like these BSP helmets. As much as I am 3D printing one I keep looking at these and think I want one.
  15. Another valid question is where was the glue bought? There's knock off glue about on eBay that won't work well.
  16. I'm not sure but most of this stuff has long been available stateside for ages.
  17. thats the back, I've not cut mine out as I didn't need to. People are always so fast to cut them when many don't really need to.
  18. I wouldn't worry about the raised section not aligning 100% perfectly. Whilst my armour isn't RWA mine has a gap too and it was fine. The main bit where the cover strip goes has to align to allow for the cover strip to attach.
  19. You need to use the tags, just copy them from the photobucket page for a photo and paste them here.
  20. The second one looks right to me. You'll also want to trim the return at the ankle away.
  21. I used E6000 to add the loop side of some velcro to the armour and then added the hook side to the foam with contact cement. Means I was able to adjust the fit easily and I can replace it if it wears out.
  22. I've been using the screen accurate hooks on my armour. Little bit fiddly at times but for the most part don't regret the decision.
  23. The trick with stencils is to seal them with a clear before use. That will stop the colour coat running like yours has. For the traps and tears I pre marked all mine with a fine tip pen allowing me to be careful with placement the painted over the lines. For the traps I also use masking tape for the top and bottom and used a calliper to space the lines evenly.
  24. If you're taller than average it might be worth asking about longer shins (obviosuly measure before ordering). One of the makers mentioned make them, not sure on the other.
