  1. Read, read, read, and read some more. Everything about getting a costume together is answered many times over.
  2. It's not done through the help desk, it's done here: http://www.whitearmor.net/forum/index.php?showtopic=16
  3. Nice attention to detail, very few of the ANH stunt EIBs put 2 rivets on their holster. EIB granted.....Report to the garbage smasher for a disturbance.
  4. Well being on detachment staff and being a GML I'd say that it's Legion approvable. It's already an upgrade from a plastic belt.
  5. You are correct.
  6. FX and RT-Mod use option A, all others use option B.
  7. I've seen a few people use novus on cracks and polish them to the point they were almost invisible.
  8. There are a couple solutions for styrene/HIPS armor. 1: Get a piece of thin styrene and plastic model glue from a hobby shop. cut a patch of the thin styrene and use the model glue to fuse it in place. 2. Use some model glue to fuse the crack and reinforce it with a a scrap of white cloth placed over the crack and soak in superglue (just so you know it may smoke but is not worrisome). It's a cheap way of making a fiberglass like support.
  9. I love a fine grit sanding drum for a dremel for most of finish work. Also how to build a helmet: http://forum.whitearmor.net/index.php?showtopic=6353
  10. I used Pete's photo tutorial found here: http://www.flickr.com/photos/stukatrooper/...57603721766632/
  11. You would still need to add the D-ring, but other than that you've got it covered.
  12. My blue ab buttons are blue angles blue, because before VaderDave was the supplier Russ was and that's the color paint he used.
  13. That's what you asked for .
  14. Blue Angels Blue is pretty close for the blue ab buttons.
  15. Actually I put the buttons on mine, and know several that have put them on AP and TE2, just to save the hassle of painting circles.
  16. It will be ready in less than an hour, and yes I've tried it myself. The same technique works on CA/supergule, and hot glue too.
  17. The charter was just amended last year with disciplinary restrictions for 501st members among other things. I was publically against it and even created a please don't support this in the 501st area. But it passed and here we are.
  18. The only way to separate ABS glued with plumbing cement is to cut it apart. If PVC glue was used and not the ABS or multi-purpose cement you may be able to freeze it tp pop it loose as PVC is quire different from ABS.
  19. Yes putting the parts in the freezer will make plastic welder break loose. It does etch into the plastic, but does not melt it like ABS plumbers cement.
  20. Actually it's only on the left bicep, the right one does not have it.
  21. Go across the channel and get some paint from France. Their stuff is so good and strong that it's not allowed in the US anymore.
  22. Couldn't have said it better myself.
  23. They fixed Han's disappearing/reappearing vest, must not have noticed . But to my defense there aren't any stormtroopers or Vader in the scene.
  24. WooHoo. Happy B-day FISD, here is to many more.
