  1. These shirts were very popular back in the 80s. My brother ahd one in black with the gray underside on the flap. I was too chubby to fit & Im kinda glad now. Ohh the 80s were a horrible decade for clothes.
  2. Nice build. I was thinking of doing aGM, but Im not too crazy for the color. I wish they would allow the "white" commander version.
  3. Isn't it funny how people always want outrageous amounts for anything Star Wars. Really I would only pay maybe $200-$300 for the set & thats a big maybe. I have a friend from work who brought me the "entire" (he was missing one can & had 2 Jarjars) set of Pepsi cans that his dad got. (He was a manager at the local Pepsi Plant) He wanted a $100 for the set. I told Im not really into the cans, & that seemed a lil high. Also that I would look into a proper price for him. I went on Ebay & found an old listing for all 24 cans with a wooded Ep1 box that didn't sell for $20. There were a few current listing starting at $25 & up. not one was selling. Told him he could maybe get $20 but would be hard because he was missing 1 can.
  4. Hey Julie, Love all your pics. But prepare for an Imperial Inspection. Berlin & I will be heading over to Oahu valentines week 2012. Maybe we can get together, always love meeting other 501st members
  5. This is too cool. Im sorry I didn't see you at C5, would have loved to get a pic with you.
  6. HAHA, This reminds me of when I was lil & my Dad too us trick o treating for Halloween one year. He took my Ben Cooper, Stormtrooper mask put it on with his cowboy hat & said he was ready. He kept it on the entire time we were out. Some memories are just priceless
  7. Some one shoot me! CABoot have gone out of thier mind. They raised the price of thier boots $50. Back when I bought mine I only paid $70 & $18 for shipping. Anyone wanting a superior Stormtrooper boot should go for TKBoots. $49 + $13 sh.
  8. The TK Boots are really comfortable. Quality is superb. Delivery time was SUPER SUPER FAST!!! Only 2 days, But Im in the next city from the seller. If you can get your size in stock get them. Otherwise you'll have to wait for backorder. But he offers a waiting list & will email you when your size is in. Shipping price is very reasonable. Price & shipping price & shipping time are much better than CABoots. This is definately the boot you want for your TK, or TD
  9. I've never done research on the TX. but since it's not a "movie" charecter I don't see why not you couldn't use flat lenses in the bucket. I have never been able to see out any bubble lenses. I've switched over all the lenses to flat in mine & the wifes buckets.
  10. NICE! I always wanted this toy blaster. But I only got the Han Solo blaster. I was so stoked when Kenner rereleased it as the Batman Sonic Blaster. I immediately peeled the Batman sticker off & painted the orange tip & scoe lenses. Ahhh I fially had my Stormtooper Blaster
  11. NO those arn't Legos on top . They are standard Imperial Sogel Greeblies I like to raid my kids toy box for parts I can glue on my props. I used a Lego engine hood exaust on my Binocs. He's always willing to sacrifice one of his toys for me.
  12. Hey Peeps, I've always wantd an SE-14 but could never find one. After looking for a few years I found one on Ebay & bought it. It is a solid resin model & looks great. It has nice detail & is fullsize. The only bad thing is it is too heavy & will not stand up to any trooping. But will look grat mounted on my armory wall. So I took it upon myself to build one from scatch. So here is my version ofthe SE-14 Imperial Sidearm & a must for all Tie Pilots
  13. Currently I store my wife's armor & mine in a couple diffrent tubs with wheels. I have mine in a 35gl molded plastic tub I got from Lowes for $30. It has built in handles on both ends & is super lite. I have my wife's armor in a Stanly 50gl tub $50 Home Depot. This is more heavy duty & you can stand on it without damaging whats inside. The 50gl has lots of extra room. It comes with a removable top shelf. I place all the smaller knick knacks here. Gloves, nexck seal, hand armor & body glove. I also have some other armor inside some 23 gl Contico roller tubs. Walmart.com had a 2pk for under $40 Before C5 I was asking how to fly with my armor. Got alot of good response. Seems the best was shipping it UPS or FedEx. But one idea stuck with me. Someone said you coupld place a full set of TK armor inside a hard glof club case. These seemed like a good option, but very expensive. $100 & up. I mentioned this to a friend at work back when I was pondering how I was going to get my armor down to Florida. Luckily he remembered our coversation & picked one up for me at a mini storage sale for $5. So I have armor in lots of diffrent tubs. My favorite is the tub from Lowes. Lots of room, super lite & very afforfable. Here's a pic with my Tie Pilot rig in it..... --------
  14. The Michale Keaton Batman is awsome!!! You even look like him in your pictures. Wear it with pride, because it's BAD@$$
  15. I left my sounds in. On my original mod(black version) I even left the red "windows" so you can see the laser fire when trigger is pulled. The other white version has the sound, but "windows" covered with Ttrack.
  16. Thanks, The next one will be a grayish color with a wood stained stock.
  17. Hey All, After getting a hold of the new Hasbro Boba Fett Blaster & repainting it. I decided it was way too small for an adult. So I took it upon myself to build a "movie size" version. I used household items. Some scrap wood, PVC pipe, rubber mat, U joint snap rings, pieces of plastic from a kitchen trash can, pop up sprinkler, scrap metal for the trigger guard. The most expensive part was the Tasco scope & mounting rail. Took me about 3 days to make.
  18. I like I like! Glad they have a similar rake at Lowes. I can walk to the end of my street & walk right into Lowes. I love having one so close. I can spend hours in there looking for stuff to make Star Wars props
