  1. lookin good! the rear sight does not have a hole in the sides on a real sterling. that's your only flaw.
  2. Clamps pretty much summed it up. ESB promo or pugman resin cast blaster - ASK RS props for a copy of one of those. ESB standard E-11 The basic sterling with T Tracks and a sight rail with one of Two scopes- the M19, or the M38 there were also resin cast blasters in ESB with different details mixing some of the elements of the pugman, and the standard sterling. in ANH they add power cells to the top of the magazine, and a hengstler counter on the left side of the scope.
  3. vader ordered troopers to not shoot them they were ordered to lead them back to their ship. where the homing beacon was to lead them to the rebel base. "only imperial troops are so precise"- Obi wan kenobi.
  4. my understanding was that the armor was given under permission? and I know that MTK has been away much for a few years... I know that mtk purchased bucks... so that's my understanding. can we havve more detailed info on that situation? thanks! I only know part of the story and would love to have it out in the open?
  5. thanks troy... I've been here since 08' and it's so much fun to read, and read, and learn, and make mistakes, and re-read.. you know the drill!
  6. Hello everyone! I'm 52 years old today and have been fighting hard to keep up my walking schedule. 501st members were first to wish me goodwill above my family members... 501 members are quicker, smarter and just so much more savvy when it comes to making an old man with cerebral palsy feel welcome, and happy! on my day I'd like to thank every person who I've ever talked with, met or helped with armor, holsters, blasters and stuff. it's a personal joy to see my work in the hands of others. just mention the word FIFTY-TWO and I'll give a break to anyone who orders stuff in the next week. positive mindsets rise far above! best wishes to all... end of line.
  7. MTK armor is from a member of the 501. it's good armor. buy it!
  8. if you're using my templates that's for 38MM pipe. 40 mm is larger. when I print out my templates I use photoprint with no border
  9. when I put marv track compared to gino track on my e-11 I can clearly see proof by then comparing to photos of an original e-11 that is the proof we all can see. when marv's track was used on a wiselite sterling semi auto, the track was too small and the holes had to be filled in. when rogue studio put gino track on a sterling used in the film it fits perfectly. that is again more proof.
  10. if you want a pipe milled I do help to do that.
  11. may I ask... have they recast AP and TE2 to selll you a kit? so why don;t you avoid this person who steals the AP and TE2 armor and wants to sell it to you? we call them recasters. IF you don't purchase AP from AP or TE2 form TE2 himself then you are looking at a RECASTER. just skip this person and order from AP or TE2 directly!
  12. love the input! can I have a detailed helmet description from you kevin? I want to know more?
  13. The photo is much more than words. it sounds like you don't like GINO? I'm,sorry sir this is a photo,, not words. photo -------------- the width on T Track is VERY important. and that is not words... it's a fact. there are no more accurate T Track than GINO track... and marv knows how much I respect him, and everyone who knows the accuracy this forum represents. i own GINO track, MARV track and even SABREFREAK track... so I've done a lot of research by purchasing all the known track the blastech track is rubber so I don't even compare that.
  14. This is a photo that GINO uses to show his T Track. Image not recoverable
  15. DO NOT USE 1 1/4" pipe... that is WAY too small.
  16. I use electrical conduit from lowes it's 1.5" in the correct size use these templates printed borderless like a photo at 300 dpi -----------
  17. Gino always comes though with great product. Marv also does a great job at being on time and on target! it's the width of the track that matters. and Gino has lowered his price a bit from years past! I like how the original tracks completely cover the vent holes... like how Gino's profile works. if only marv's track were thicker!@
  18. I would go with GINO T Track, power cells from andy and a resin scope and counter. the wires 4 loops in series with thin wire would be great if you follow the examples shown. The D ring can be metal easy! use a D ring from lowes! the longer bolt showing though the cocking channel and a spring for the front you need an inner barrel.
  19. e-6000 and some rivet pins should do the trick!
  20. looks pretty good for a start. just don't take too much off the ears at a time, once the ears are on it will pull together more!
  21. Please share the info about the helmets? thanks in advance!
  22. when I compared the wood grain ATA buck, to an AP it was really shorter than the AP. looks like he corrected the smallness of his belt buck!
  23. Thank you so much for your kind words and advice! I have lowered my price, and will be making more! it's only ten dollars in the difference in price! so now it's the same! well almost!
