  1. sweet! sheds a lot of information for me! did you get it as a kit? or make it yourself?
  2. ATA makes a nice kit. really! it is very nice! TX all the way!
  3. what happened to the centurion award graphic? it's missing from our centurions on site?
  4. the Attache' graphic on our banners area is a great example of contrast, transparancy and color use!
  5. looks like he's wearing a squib pack and padding in his chest plate. they explode into a purple smoke, with white sparks when detonated.
  6. Great job on the updated graphics for the awards panels on the site. I really like the fabric texture, and the metal edges on them! the centurion award panel seems to be missing from the themes? it looked good for a while? where did they go running off to now? again... great job!~ nice shading on the EIB! outstanding!
  7. how much for all your leather? I'll buy it.
  8. nice work!~ I don't mind at all. have fun!
  9. it has shipped!~ you will get tracking very very soon. I also have included a gift. my PM box is open?
  10. APEX sells the real thing. even ships to california! getting the magazine is another story!
  11. I wouldn't change anything. they look fine just the way they are. you did a great job of fitting them together!~!
  12. I have put that on the forum before! here's the post! the post above shows some interesting details. here's a couple photos from the original thread.
  13. newspaper ink can damage the finish on ABS armor. it can cause yellowing. best way is to use charcoal pencil, or fuller's earth powders. just some charcoal dust and a few black streaks here and there, and you've got it!
  14. gloves on last. works best that way. then you tuck em in. it's always good to wear silk gloves inside rubber ones... easier to take off, and wicks away most of the sweat.
  15. pardon me for asking, but I don't believe that hasbro mods are allowed for centurion? you look like you're well on the way to a fully custom build. keep in mind that the hasbro is too short.
  16. I think skins should be divided by the following: browser. film. color. ie. firefox ANH dark or Internet explorer ESB white or google chrome ROTJ dark just an idea.
  17. it looks like a block of wood... seriously!
  18. I think the FISD represents equality between the casual trooper, and the accuracy nut. the best option for balance in the centurion camp is the allowance of a plastic or resin blaster... because actually to be a screen used replica you'd have to carry one of the following blasters: a working firearm with added parts - would require a license and permits to troop with. (most likely a fan film set.) demilled sterling with added parts - still requires some permits and licenses in some locations. not legal in others. steel billet in receiver, plugged magwell. no trigger. no bolt resin replica as per screen used - solid resin moulded copies of the base gun with parts added. (might have real scope or real counter.) I think that a fully modded hasbro that has been fully chopped to the point of replicating the blaster should be allowed if it meets the centurion level of accuracy for measurements, appearance and functionality. in that case it would be considered a "scratch build"
  19. first in the USA! now that's something!
  20. what can you say about the recent court case, and the past court case between Andrew Ainsworth and lucasfilm limited? how do you feel about the concepts raised?
  21. very close. just a little too much tapering... only the base edges should be tapered in my opinion.. but they look really nice! you did a really really great job on this build! way to go above and beyond!
  22. nice work! it's always a team effort on the part of many many people to produce designs and information on the hardest parts to replicate for the star wars universe. I'd have to say that the russ rep design I've shown is the best replica of the whole setup used here. snoberg makes them to order too, his design is what I've used on several blasters I've made... and soon I'll have a small run with the adjustable capacitors and small pin wires going into the baseplate. this is a great tutorial on how to make your own. just a few minor alterations and you'll have your own metal power cells for your blaster! thanks for the tutorial kevin...
  23. bottom row of T track needs removed. add bayonet lug. add holes in barrel, add inner barrel. then I would like it better!! nice work!
