I used Gimp for the cut and pasting (it's free too); some really good how to videos out there, which are a must at first before you get the hang of it.

Looking good! I agree to tweek the bells forward a bit also. You can always move a snap plate or strap once you get them where like them.

My new throat mic finally came in today! I think I finally have an alternative to the digging in of the headset into my skull and having to tongue kiss my mic extension into position 100 times a troop. Got some GREAT info from my fellow troopers, especially Toybiz in this post- http://www.whitearmor.net/forum/topic/28793-my-experience-using-a-throat-mic-and-source-for-a-mic-only-version/ I went with the ixradio dual transponder, 50 bucks. http://www.ixradio.com/shop/throat-mic/ Combined it with my go-pro chest harness, aker and icomm. So NO wires on my armor at all or helmet. It all hides under my neck seal also. I did not use the push to talk, this video is on Vox. I will give it the troop test at a laser tag event this Saturday- will give a follow up report!

ANH build, need critiques!
Tusken RTT replied to justjoseph63's topic in Build Threads Requireing Maintenance
I had to put some non-elastic strapping between my ab and kidney- mine did the same thing always wanting to ride up and ruin the alignment; I think you are fine with the back of the belt, but others will chime in. -
Good info Walt! Thanks for the vid Sebstien- interesting stuff!

Looking really good!! I just see a couple of things; the ears look a bit thick on the bottom curved bases and the whole belt could stand to come up almost an inch, you would have to move your snaps up on the ab plate (just had to adjust mine also). Also could just be the strapping on the ab/kidney, but the rivets could be aligned a bit better by bringing one piece either up or down, whatever is more comfortable. -
Yep, glued in front and back.

Your Imgur account was fine, like I said simply cut and paste the bb code of each image onto your post here, we can then see the photos without clicking on anything. The menu in Imgur is to the right of each image. There is good post going where Tim describes how to fill the holes perfectly- http://www.whitearmor.net/forum/topic/30483-whitehammers-rt-mod-esb-tk-wip/ You will be able to hide them pretty easily using the ABS paste and then sanding and polishing a bit. Good luck and keep us posted! -
WhiteHammer's RT-Mod ESB TK (WIP)

Yea the pic showing the ab and kidney together is not bad! Tim is giving you some great advice on the ABS paste, will be a snap to fill the holes if you indeed make the adjustment. Here is the famous pic of the kidney notch and the rivets from the photo references which shows the hole placement really well, being a little more to the top. -

Be sure to check out the reference pics; The rivets need to be evenly spaced, yes, but after the notch is cut I believe. They may need to be moved up. -
Looks awesome!

You can cut and paste the bbcode (to the right of each image in the menu) to allow the pics to show up without everyone having to use the link. Allow me for the first pic! The build looks fantastic- great job! Only possible issue I see is the ab and kidney piece alignments. It looks like the kidney could be shifted down to better align? You would have to re-do your rivets then to match. Something like this- -

I was kind of wondering about that also; with everyone doing more and more shim work, it can be tricky deciding where to put the notch; on the ab facing part of the shim or on the part attaching to the kidney. -
