1. Whoop whoop! Congrats! Can't wait to see the updates! The RS kit looks amazing. Sent from my LGLS740 using Tapatalk
2. Man, so much goodness in this newsletter. Much thanks to the founders, current and future leaders! Always inspired, proud to be a brother in white plastic. Sent from my LGLS740 using Tapatalk
3. Slow and steady... slow and steady... [emoji14] Sent from my LGLS740 using Tapatalk
4. Looks great, move along, move along. Sent from my LGLS740 using Tapatalk
5. You're a good guy Joseph! Very generous of you.
6. I will definitely give that shot! It's so hard to get any idea of volume level with my bucket. I like the idea of having someone else wear it while getting a general idea for level as well as facing the speaker outward. Thanks for the ideas! Sent from my LGLS740 using Tapatalk
7. Great job on the fan 2.0 set up and congrats on trooping the Children's museum! The pictures looked like tons of fun! Sent from my LGLS740 using Tapatalk
8. Wow! All the mods on the helmet are amazing! Congrats and great job and good luck! Also, you may be missing a picture of your D ring. Tony requested it during my submission pics as well.

Anyway, amazing work!
9. Lastly....and I will have to look further into this one is feedback. Lot's at higher volume, the mic that came with the aker has an adjustable boom that naturally did not want to stay close to the mouth. Not sure if speaker placement/mic is the issue. Thoughts? 10. The third thing that became a no thing was prior to my first troop I was having issues with shins twisting and not staying straight. After reading various posts by other members it seemed that most settled on this and it worked like a charm. I was afraid the velcro mounted directly the boot wouldn't last but it didn't budge in the hour plus troop. Inside the shin. I just did the one on the front. Sent from my LGLS740 using Tapatalk
11. The next issue I had experienced was my ammo belt plastic thing worn around the waist popped off at one point. I did use line 20 snaps at the time of building because I had painted a tan TKittle belt white and didn't know if it was gonna fly or not. Until I figure it out the next step I currently placed some velcro in for added support. Sent from my LGLS740 using Tapatalk
12. Ok so I had my first official troop yesterday, it was a little over an hour with a lot of kids. Of course it was without it's follies. Here is what I experienced and also look for thoughts from you all. First, the S gasket I purchased keeps falling of the rim of the helmet. My garrison bud suggested E6000 on a couple of spots as he experienced the same situation on a previous troop. So applied 5 small little dabs at various spots but honestly, I'm looking at replacing it all in general. Sent from my LGLS740 using Tapatalk
13. Wow! Those are amazing!
14. Yes! Let's do this! Well you'll be doing it, we'll just be watching and cheering you on! Sent from my LGLS740 using Tapatalk
15. I need to do this, did you just straight up use adhesive backed velcro? Did you E6000 it on, did you sew it on? Enquiring minds would like to know, well maybe not minds, maybe just me.
16. And the instructions are not in English so this will be fun!
17. Here is the wireless system. Looks like a similar model sold before, it cost 23 bucks with free shipping, I spent more on less so here goes nothing. I will troop tomorrow with it. It even came with a "free gift"... Sent from my LGLS740 using Tapatalk
18. Look what showed up today! Wireless system for my troop arrives tomorrow! First troop is on Friday!! Sent from my LGLS740 using Tapatalk
19. Love the thread, getting ready to do my first troop on Friday for a bunch of kids at a summer camp who will have completed Jedi training (rebel rebel). I figure I'm gonna need to have some lines ready and pull some jedi mind tricks on the kids to get me out of getting whacked with plastic light sabers for an hour.
20. They look good. I gave both of my forearms a hot water bath to get the to hold the shape I wanted them to take so that is always an option as well. Sent from my LGLS740 using Tapatalk
21. You'll probably need to register here as well. http://501st.com/forum/ This gets access to the swag runs.
22. This was the pack a bunch of guys in the local garrison turned me on to. It's pretty large, not sure a bracket would hide it.

https://www.amazon.com/Poweradd-Charging-Portable-Identification-Smartphones/dp/B00MWU1GGI/ref=sr_1_2?ie=UTF8&qid=1468207901&sr=8-2&keywords=Poweradd

Mine is currently Velcro'd to the back of my helmet.
