1. Looking back it I would and probably will rip if off and do over but I would start by e6000ing the left side if you were facing it first. Once that was good and dry I would hot water bath it and get the right side bent into shape and glued in. Once that was good and dry then I would just add some glue to the middle part. I started middle, then left and lastly the right side and while the right side sits great the middle is now the issue.
2. Shoulder bridges look awesome. I forget, did you hot water bath them or just leave them. They seem pretty flexible.
3.
Interesting, I thought the notch was always 22x22 regardless of size for Centurion? At least that's what the CRL says. Sorry I messed up the quote. Yeah. My understanding is that it should line up with the edge of the butt plate. We need some clarity me thinks.... I'd hang fire until we know more. As they say " it's easier to cut off than put back!" Ok so Tony confirmed that the above picture is for centurion only, Currently not interested in Centurion so I am moving on!
4. Ok here is the knee after 15 seconds in the boiling pot... It's still not straight but it now totally sits flat and is currently becoming intimate with E6000. Sent from my LGLS740 using Tapatalk
5. Ok so I tried to size the ab and kidney plates so the seam would be relatively in the middle. After cutting the ab this is what my notch looks like. Now my question for us "huskier" guys. I stumbled across this in Tony's Anovos build thread and Tim mentioned it in this months news letter. So I should be correct in cutting a 50mm x 22mm notch? This is final cut for me. At this point it will rivets for the two halves, some strapping, home made (pandatrooper) neck seal and a home made garter system and of course sanding, picking E6000 out and some novus 1 2 3.. 6. This is it... the moment that makes ComradeDave shutter... sniper knee... you're going down! Sent from my LGLS740 using Tapatalk
7. Go to Ace hardware. They have a whole aisle with all of these drawers and crazy nuts and bolts. Here in Georgia they are 20 cents each. They are 6 x 5/8 round head.
8. Ok TD/O2/I don't remember these things every being used in the OT! I am done with you!
9. Thanks my friend! Sent from my LGLS740 using Tapatalk

11. Yeah, it seems like the mom and pop hardware stores are the way to go. If you want some of these. I can drop them in the mail for you. I couldn't imagine postage would be crazy. Sent from my LGLS740 using Tapatalk
12. And the right is pretty much finished
<img src="http://i1006.photobucket.com/albums/af181/polewskdComradeDave/13329634_10153665642824067_1779051029_n_zpsseymvih0.jpg"alt="13329634_10153665642824067_1779051029_n_">

Did you use a full 1 inch strip of Velcro on the back or did you cut in down the middle. I am having a hard time visualizing how the Velcro is supposed to go on.
13. Also.. I swear I whacked the p out of these caps when I put them on. I don't know if I mentioned I did a hot water bath before beating them into submission... well I literally just popped them off with no effort?!?!! Oh well... live and learn!
14. Check this out. Local Ace hardware had them. Close enough for me... Sent from my LGLS740 using Tapatalk

16. Man, reading over this thread again I have to say, congrats on the weight loss! You must be proud and amazed to be trimming off that much kidney plastic. Really happy for you. Now, does part of the secret to your weight loss include wearing a white plastic sweat suit!?!
17. I whacked the living day lights out of them to get them on and that was after the hot water bath. I didn't glue them so I may be able to screw them off but at this point I think I'll come back to it later. I have to fit the ab kidney and I am terrified at where to cut the ab. Anybody have a clear cut line. It's my understanding the ab should be cut like the "movie" and the kidney should be adjusted to size? Sent from my LGLS740 using Tapatalk
18. Yeah, one of the guys in my Garrison said just get through basic and worry about it after. So I'll probably move forward. Sent from my LGLS740 using Tapatalk
19. I believe he used everyone's favorite! E6000
20. I didn't get any screws with mine (?) So I went out and bought #6 machine screws with nuts. So it sounds like I have same deal nuts and bolt action going on as you do. If I go with the wood screw looking ones then I can let the nuts rattle all day only inside the canister. Now I didn't glue my caps. I gave them a hot water bath then bashed them on with a hammer so maybe (dought it) they would come off.

22. Here is a cut and paste. If it doesn't work look up maninthesuitcase anovos thread. With a sanding drum (use a new one, the old one I was using took ages. Swapped to a new one took seconds) I thinned down the leather until I could get the needed clearance for the snap to crimp. The blue tape is a guide to stop be going too far down where you'd see it below the belt. Theres not a huge amount crimped but the load isn't working on it in that direction so I am happy it will hold okay. I know it wasn't his primary reason but maybe it will work for you.
23. There is a thread where someone sanded a layer off and had the natural hide showing. I'll see if I can dig it up. Sent from my LGLS740 using Tapatalk
