  1. Same rustoleoum primer, probably half as many cans as the glossy white? Started with the white primer but some later parts I used grey, it doesn't matter much from what I could tell. Again though... I messed up a lot while painting mine so I probably used more primer and paint than the average
  2. Rustoleum 2x glossy white, not sure how many cans! I screwed up a lot so probably used more cans than I should have
  3. People were buying it from https://stormtrooperundersuit.com but it seems to be offline now?
  4. I wear the same 2 piece undersuit that I wear for my OT TK. No problems with approval, but yeah the other suit is what was used in the movie. I'm considering making a pair of shiny shorts to get the same effect, without wearing the hotter suit on Florida weather.
  5. Look how far under the chest the ab goes, the whole suit is different from anything we have right now
  6. I used the Rustoleum 2x gloss white on my armor and troop with the ABS helmet. Like Clint said, it's not perfect but it's pretty close.
  7. I've been playing around with something similar, making hand gestures and using bendy resistors for finger movements also. Still just a thing I'm tinkering with, but I'm using https://www.adafruit.com/products/1714 and https://www.adafruit.com/products/1070 with an arduino as my starting point, using https://www.adafruit.com/products/1381 for audio playback.
  8. Looking forward to it! If it's like your Anovos build, you should be done in like a week?
  9. Happy anniversary FISD! I definitely wouldn't be a trooper without all of the knowledge and help provided here, thanks to all.
  10. Bummed about no VIP ticket here too, but I got a 4 day pass so that's cool
  11. You can get the Anovos plastic ones from Amazon pretty quickly actually, cheaper too
  12. It's definitely a little tricky, but it's doable and like others said there are always helping hands around at a troop for things like that!
  13. My arms are all one piece, forearm connected to bicep with elastic and the bicep is connected to the shoulder bell with elastic/Han hook so it goes on like a sleeve. Just one snap at the shoulder for the shoulder bell. With a little practice and doing things in the right order it's pretty easy to suit up by myself.
  14. The bolts I have on the grip are too small also, I think.
  15. I think I've had it that way for a while, fixed it real quick:
  16. Oh whoops, lol. That's the only piece not glued, must have goofed when putting it up for photos there
  17. That's all I've added, but still need to attach the longer bolts for the holster connection too
