  1. I see Andrew already gave you the heads up to remove the paint from the cod/butt plate snap and rivet. Also keep, not that it will affect your EI submission, but you should consider a couple things in the future (I'm sure Andrew will touch base on this) 1. Use some epoxy or ABS paste on your kidney shims to make sure the additions are seamless 2. Change the TD screws to the correct screws and paint them black 3. The inside of the mic tips should be white 4. Tighten the straps from your back to your kidney to close the gap a bit 5. Based on the pic, it looks like your right shoulder flares out a bit, make sure it is secured just like your left shoulder bell Other than that i think you did a great job! good luck trooper....
  2. Now that's dedication. Thanks for your hard work Joseph...
  3. It is truly an honor to be part of this detachment. the stormtrooper detachment is a group of selfless, innovative, and organized people. Amazing job to everyone that has joined, and a big shout out to those of you that created this. I have only been on for the last couple of years, but as you mentioned, i look forward to seeing the progression to the next 10 years.
  4. Nice job bells, i see you are on your way to getting everything to centurion standards. The feedback i can give you are 3 things: 1. Shorten the shoulder bells straps to bring them closer to your body. (shorten the gap) Also, bicep hooks may help the shoulders from moving around. 2. You may need about a 2 inch shim on your right ab/kidney connection to close the gap created. 3. For EIB approval you will need a picture of your cod/butt plate snaps and rivet. Not sure if anyone sees anything else, you are well on your way, your armor looks great. Nice Job!
  5. can't wait to get mine in!!! they look great
  6. Came out awesome. the weathering on it is amazing. Great job trooper!
  7. little by little...
  8. just make sure that you create a seamless look when creating your shims.
  9. Any gray will work. I bought the pipe from the home improvement store gray already so i didn't have to paint it. You can definitely use your humbrol paint tho
  10. lol... did you just give up on the thread.
  11. Lmfao that is an understatement. Trooper selfies are definitely rare lol
  12. Nice Job! A couple small critiques for your build: - Paint the screws on the TD black (you may also want to change the kind of screw as well) - Please show the inside/outside of the snaps of the butt plate, you may have put them inside out. - the tip of the mic tips should be white. I don't believe any of this will affect your submission for EIB, however, its something to look at. Good Luck with your submission!
  13. very nice...love these
  14. not necessarily. Its just easier and cheaper to mass produce the plastic ones which is why they do them for the kits. The handguards are the least likely things to crack.
  15. Always comes out better by hand and definitely you make less mistakes that way. At the end of the day, its how you feel most comfortable. as far as the handguards go, the latex ones are screen accurate as opposed to the plastic hard ones that the kits come with. Either won't affect basic approval or expert infantry, but just making sure you are aware of that. Good Luck, so far so good. Move Along!
  16. Looks great!! Nice job Christine!
  17. Lmfao. thanks for the update Joseph. Can't wait for these, Great Run. Really appreciate all your hard work!
