  1. Hold up are you going for TD or TK? A sandtrooper has different criteria. not to mention a different sniper plate.
  2. Yes i already did; he said a standard latex paint. I already bought it, i just have to paint it glossy white.
  3. I guess they come really close to the Anovos kit. I received them and i love the quality, but there is a color variation from my ATA armor. I was just going to paint it like they did in the movies.
  4. I have a question? did you paint Joseph's hand guards? They look like a very similar shade in color to the armor.
  5. Great Job! Should be a quick approval process.
  6. Yes, this is the canvas belt a lot of us use. TKittell does a great job with them! You will love it.
  7. You're on the right track. If you are going for centurion you will definitely have to close the gap of the ab/kidney with shims (or loose weight of course) but one thing at a time. First basic approval, then EIB, and then centurion. Although doing the build in all one shot will save you some duplicate efforts later. Move Along!
  8. coming along nicely!
  9. I personally have an ATA, so Terrell provided extra sheets of ABS. You can contact his group or trooperbay.com has as well. Many of the ppl that manufacture the armors will be willing to sell the ABS sheets im sure.
  10. The ears look great! That is actually minimal gap compared to if you really look at the screen used buckets! you are on the right track! Move Along!
  11. I wish i could see these pics. What program are you using to post the pics? they are all broken files
  12. Danny, good job it is coming along nicely. I'm sure you see the light at the end of the tunnel. 1. Now as far as your kidney/ab connection, you can always loose weight lol; but what you can do it add shims to the sides to create an extension. TK1636 has an online build that shows a great tutorial on this. 2. the shoulder strap is one of those things that are the most fragile due to the position and wear. Since you are constantly moving those to take on/off this is normal. Just be careful and mindful of the straps. You may want to order an extra set just in case since it looks like it may not last. As far as reinforcing it, you can make some ABS glue and try to mend the pieces and put some ABS plastic parts on this inside of them to make them thicker. 3. Your right calve seems to be an issue now; it definitely looks like you cut too much when sizing it. Did you size it with the boots and underarmor on? that may be the issue. A way to help out is to create a shim on the inside and make it wide so that you can get more velco surface area. You also put the strip on the wrong side; the calves should be done from the outside in so that you can hide/conceal the edge. You can always do the screen used shin way and make the bra hooks to connect your calves. This, along with the velcro, should make enough strength and support to keep it shut. However, since you are trying to not over-complicate i would just do the strip on the inside for now. Completely up to you bud. Internal strapping is completely up to the armor wearer. Also, i suggest you remove some of the return edge from the shoulder bells so they can sit a bit more flush to your body. You may also consider shortening the length a bit too so they can sit closer to the shoulder straps. Oh and if your ultimate goal is Centurion, then the shoulder Elastic connecting the chest to the back should be White 2 inch Elastic, not black. And the rivets on your left side and the right knee ammo pack should be painted white. Actually, while I'm at it, i definitely suggest you get a new Canvas Belt. The ones the Anovos armor comes with are not that great.
  13. there is a thread on doing this: http://www.whitearmor.net/forum/tutorials/article/48-posting-images-in-threads-2015/
  14. you can add as many pictures as you want. the best way is to add them to a photobucket account insert the IMG link. that way it actually displays on the thread and there is no external page. you can make those pics as big/small as you need.
  15. Yup, no one ever gets it right with the first pair!
  16. Phil, where are you located? if you are looking for TK Boots, you can always get them online where most of us stormtroopers got them. http://www.tkboots.com/ Good Luck!
  17. Little by little...
  18. don't forget the bicep hooks to grab that shoulder bell strap.
  19. Yup what he said lol... i'm talking about the outside edge of the tips. The outside of the mics are black as seen.
  20. Great Progress Aaron! I know you are just about done with the bucket, but be mindful of the mic tips. Depends on what level you are going for, the outside tips and inside of the mics should be white. It's a lot of work and a lot of money, but its worth it at the end. You are almost there bud!
  21. looks great. You can't even tell where you put that paste.
  22. Ultimately, wait until everything is assembled. Once you have your build connected, then put it on and walk around. You will easily be able to detect where you need to trim. The legs are the easiest to touch up and trim around the knee. The back of the knees tend to be the biggest trim issue when walking.
  23. you can always order it from trooperbay.com https://trooperbay.com/costuming-supplies/painting.html he is always offering the French Blue.
  24. same issue here!
