  1. I think this is a great project. I found this link about hangman burn from latex neck seal. http://www.newt.com/wohler/diving/dry-suit-neck-seal-burn.html It might be if relevance to some. Could it be a dive suit neck seal that is folded over over itself several times to make the ribbed effect? Does anyone know for real what they really used in the movie? Who would know?
  2. That's freaking awsome Congrats
  3. The Honda polish is also an anti-fog agent for the lenses and smells really good too!
  4. I have a TE2 with the cracks in the same area of the chin. I used super glue and and t shirt strips and it has held up fine.
  5. I found these at Menards a local hardware store. There are 25 in a pack for 4.99 and the appear to be the same color and size as the original wire. They look black on the box but they are Goldish, bronzish with a little gasoline rainbow effect like wire hangers but thinner wire. they are long enough to make the brackets and will have to snap off a bit on the smaller brackets. They are sturdy. I going back to get some tommarrow and buy some mini bent needle nose plyers to form them. Hope this helps out as another alternative.
  6. Looking good. I would personly go with the French buttons.
  7. Gotcha. . . thanks Paul
  8. He should help an old lady across the street and use the force to manipulate the trafic lights and stop cars. A trooper(s) half way across the street ask to see there identification and of course you know the rest. Move along.
  9. I'm still lost? Does anyone have a pic of the ANH armor showing these wire brackets? Or a link to the thread discussing them?

  15. I meant IF the real component was metal Then some may be silver and some resin casts could be white?
  16. It would make sence that some would be metal if they used the real component and the cast ones painted. Just my 2 cents.
  17. That's hillariuos I was just discussing this last night. I don't either.
  18. That's looking great! Can't wait to see the finished helmet
  19. I used a dive suit for over 10 years. 2 way Zipper in the front. It was about $60 on eBay. Lycra.
  20. I ordered some a few years back. I received them within a week an love the quality.
  21. I personally use box knife and safety gloves. I draw a line with a pencil , score it , then a little bendy and it snaps right apart. I've built 4 troopers this way. Just my 2 cents. I've never used scissors. If you use these I would be interested to know how you like it. I have 2 troopers I'm working on at the moment.
  22. My kids and I play the Wii. Our fave is Mario bros. And my fave is the 007 games. We have the USB loader and have several hundred games on an external HD. We limit how much we play but enjoy the Wii very much.
