  1. Did you air brush or paint brush? How were the originals done? Any pics of the screen used ones?
  2. I've researched several ways of turning black boots white. 1. white leather paint (not good for flexablity and will crack and scuff) 2. white dye (should not scuff or crack) 3. White shoe polish (?) 4. white spray leather (not an option for me) <_< http://www.tonybarnett.plus.com/boots.html This trooper used leather paint....... I'm really thinking about using Fiebing's dye. (i've read soon to be discontinued due to inviornmental laws) My question is ................... Has anyone here used dye and how did it turn out considering it's turning black into white? How far will the 4oz bottle go? I need to do 2 pair of boots. I want the screen used look, not shiney white cheng boots, but still white, but i dont want cracking/pealing going on either. any sugestions would be very helpfull thanks.

  9. I think EVO3 will be doing a run of accurate mics tips in the near future with the correct screens and nipple. Stompers are nice and you can get speakers with them.
  10. Dang, that was fast! Just ordered a set of ID decals.
  11. Works for me. Thanks! You da MAN!
  12. Mike, on the armor ID decals can you make a kit with ID plus Rights and Lefts for the arms and legs? I can put my armor on blindfolded, but sometimes loan it out to friends for trooping when I'm wearing another costume and this would be a great help. It would also help if it said "AP" , "TE2", "F/X" etc. If i loan both out at once it would help when getting undressed so parts don't get mixed. Just a thought.
  13. I always take my tk tool box to every event and use it at almost every event for something or other. Once i had to pop rivet my knee back on. Had to replace some velcro a couple times. Had to repair cracked cod were the belt attached with tape and glue once. Had to hot glue abb button when i bent over and the chest armor popped it off. I actually use chewing gum until i could get a break and do the repair. I use anti fogg wipe packets regularly while suiting up. Have had to install batteries. Have had to make repairs to my biker scout too. I keep snaps and snap crimper in there too.
  14. The email button worked, but i don't use outlook express so i didn't send an email.
  15. deoderant, throw away camera, pre-cut velcro strips if you use the industrial strength.

  17. Well, me and my brother -in- law -to- be went to this and had a blast. I went as Vader and he wore my tk. My picture was in the news paper. It was a sad day though as it was the last troop with my f/x armor
  18. I didn't get velcro or the elastic strap, but it's no big deal to me. Velcro is fiarly cheap and the elastic belt.. well.. it's elastic and i've upgraded to a canvas belt anyway.

  24. Just keep in mind when we went to the school it was the last week of school and did not disrupt any classroom learning. It could be the timing was right. I was conserned about taking blasters and was prepared to leave them at home, but it was ok'd and they were never pointed at anyone.
