  1. You da bomb Jimmi, awesome work, can't wait to see this one come full circle. Sent from my iPad using Tapatalk
  2. Hey David, a couple of things for you to do, while waiting. Please post up the photos of your blaster as they are missing, hope you turned that charge handle and rear sight around easy enough. You will also need to remove all the return edge from the wrist end of your forearms. You still have some to be removed from the ridge section that has the dimples in that run down the fore arm. All if it must go for the lvl 3 CRL. Thanks for your patience.
  3. Hi Joseph, you have only posted up a the close up photo of one side of your helmet, could you please post up the opposite side. Thanks brother.
  4. Looks like they are trying to make it harder to vac form various parts by adding more hard edges and angles. There is no doubt some of our talented armourers and members are already entrenched in development of these newer versions of the original TK. Sent from my iPad using Tapatalk
  5. Thank you Clint, very professional mate and we greatly appreciate it. Sent from my iPad using Tapatalk
  6. Hi Preston, welcome to your EI review, with out further delay, lets take a look!! CRL and EIB Application Requirements: All submission photos are present. Your armor displays all the necessary elements to qualify for Expert Infantry. UK and myself would like to congratulate you and welcome you the EI rank. Other-Armor Fit/Assembly: In this section we take into consideration suggestions from your fellow troopers as well as our own observation with regard to the overall look and fit of your armour. If any of our findings would effect this or a future application they are noted in the above and below section of the review. Man you did good, this is a clean build with only a few things that need addressing, to get you looking perfect. For the most of it these are not CRL requirements only accuracy suggestions so you look the best you can. I will note here, for some reason I have been unable to copy your images and modify them to add the arrows and circles we normally put over photos to highlight areas to fix. things higlighted in your thread. Thermal Det srews I am not certain of the name of the typr of screw you have used below, but the correct type are called Slotted head screws, they require a flat head screw driver to tighten. Reference image of Thermal Det Secondly we have the shoulder bridge gap between the top of the Bell and the plastic shoulder bridge. This should be close to touching, and even though you may not get them that close, we think you can still get them a little further in or at least even them up so the gaps are the same. Reference image Centurion Suggestions: As much as we try to identify everything that might effect a Centurion approval, some things don't present themselves clearly until we see the more detailed shots that get submitted in that review. The only factor we see here is the cover strip on your thigh. It needs to be trimmed to the ridge and not actually glued over it. We know you are working on this fix already, so that's great. Reference image of cover strip and where it should finish at the bottom. Great job with this AP build brother and a well deserved EI award Make your corrections, follow the level 3 CRL and the photo check list and we hopefully see you at Centurion review in the near future. Congratulations once again .
  7. Congrats Hunter, great job on the armour.
  8. That' Thats not a cast , its the real thing painted up for sure.
  9. Just found a piece of the new TK backpack from Rouge One. It is the section with the circles on the back, which is an internal top piece of a plastic ammunition box Here is the link to a German military disposals store that has them for sale. -----------
  10. You can always look at dropping the biceps as an alternative, but make sure the spacing between Bicep and fore are are balanced left and right. Sent from my iPad using Tapatalk
  11. Hi Chris, thank you for your EI application and your patience, lets get into it!! CRL and EIB Application Requirements: All submission photos are present. Your armor displays all the necessary elements to qualify for Expert Infantry , congratulations Trooper and welcome to the rank. Other-Armor Fit/Assembly: In this section we review observation made by us and your fellow troopers, if any of these observation would affect a future application, they will be made in the above and or below sections. Thank you for kitting up again to get the new side shot, much better on the side gap. The only other suggestions we have here are to bring the tops of the shoulder bells in by shortening the straps, as mentioned by one of your fellow troopers. Also if you can decrease the gap between the bottom of the biceps and top of the fore arms and even them out. Centurion Suggestions: In this section Uk or myself may suggest recommended or required repairs prior applying for the Centurion level however, the accuracy it is ultimately up to the trooper. We have no areas to mention here. We love seeing great quality RS builds coming across the desk, and this one is no exception. We have nothing more to add here except check the Centurion CRL requirements and get your submission ready. Congratulations Trooper. We love seeing a great RS kit, and this is no exception, it fits you beautifully.
  12. Thanks Chris, great photos by the way. Will be with you shortly.
  13. Hi Walt Just checking in to see how things are going. If you have any questions, please don't hesitate to send Tony or myself a PM Cheers
  14. Hi Jim Could you please add some missing info from the top of your application. Name: Legion ID: Forum Name: Garrison: Thank you Edit: Can we also have an external photo of the snaps on your Butt plate, as we cant see them in your photos. Just need to make sure they are not painted white.
  15. Hi Dave You need to have past EIB first before you can submit for Centurion I have had a quick look at your EIB app and there will be some things you will be required to change for Centurion so you will need to re post for Centurion at a later date. Sorry Tony and are are a little behind at the moment as I am away for work this week and tony is flat out at work too. Thank you for your patience brother will get back to your EI application as soon as I can.
  16. Hi Ryan, thank you for your application for Centurion, lets see what we have!! CRL and Centurion Application Requirements: All required photos are present. Thank you for making the suggested minor paint corrections from the EIB review, your armour meets all requirements as set out by the level 3 CRL. With that Uk and myself would like to congratulate and welcome you to the Centurion ranks. Great job. Other-Armor Fit/Assembly: We have nothing to add except for what a lovely job with your build, I for one would be proud to march along side you. .
  17. Hi Hunter Any chance you could post up a close up photo of the back of your shins and another of the front. You don't need to be wearing them, we are just trying to figure something out. Thank you for your patience.
  18. Hey Chris Any chance you can kit back up and get another side photo so the gap on the non rivet side is closed up a bit more, The allowance for EIB is approx 12 mm and yours is quite wide. I do think it is a dressing issue but give it a crack. Also check the Bells as your fellow troopers have mentioned and see if you cant bring them in at the tops (not a deal breaker for EIB) but you are close. Cheers
  19. Hi Preston I am having issues accessing your posted photos to edit them and highlight areas for adjustment or modification, so for the cover strip example I am going to use another image of sombody elses armour with the same issue Please reference your action shot to see the extent of the thigh cover strip, As you can see from this screen used thigh the front cover strip stops at the ridge and doesn't pass over it. So you need to carefully trim yours shorter at the bottom. This is not an EIB requirement but for Centurion it should be correct. Depending on how yours are glued down, if it is E6000, you can pull the stips off at the bottm and cut them shorter, then glue back down.
  20. I am away for work at the moment but as soon as I have the opportunity I will post up some photos to show what I mean with regards to the cover strip.
  21. Hey Kris. Thank you for your EIB application. CRL and EIB Application Requirements: All submission photos have been posted. Your armor displays all the necessary elements to qualify for Expert Infantry. Welcome trooper! Other-Armor Fit/Assembly: In this section we review observations made by your fellow troopers and ourselves. Some observations may lead to suggestions to improve the overall look of your armor. If any suggestion affects any application, it will be listed separately in the above or below sections. We'd just like to say excellent job on your build, which has made our job very easy in this instance, thank you. Centurion Suggestions: In the Centurion section we make recommendations to make sure you have the best chance of passing our highest level of achievement. The only thing we find that is only a suggestion would be to change the screws on the Thermal Det to a standard slotted head. Yours are close but still not correct,. Reference image Get that Centurion application in, it was very obvious from this build that this was your goal from the outset. Congratulations once again on an excellent job, and good to see another Aussie joining the ranks
