  1. Congratulations trooper, welcome to Expert Infantry
  2. Knee ammo pack is not mounted correctly on the thigh. The top portion should be mounted to the ridge at the bottom of the thigh, where you actually have the bottom of the ammo pack mounted to the ridge so it sits too high up. Also the bottom corners of the knee ammo pack should be rounded, although this is very difficult to see in the image.
  3. This has now been added to our FB group
  4. great news, we should blast this out on the FB group.

  9. Wow nice work trooper, good luck, but I dont think you will need it.
  10. Have you attempted to cost out how much one of these babies would be to buy, kit form or assembled?
  11. I'm loving this build brother
  12. Id add it again Glen, the PM's are still coming in regarding this.
  13. Congrats and welcome aboard.
  14. There are few things you can do to give your armour a little more flex but also sit closer to you and may help the rear alignment. First I would remove some of the return edge, you seem to have a reasonable amout on the neck line and the sides of the chest plate You can also water bath your shoulder bridges to add a slight twist and have them sit outwards a touch to better align with the back plate.
  15. Boil the water, then take it off the heat and place your item in. Keep checking every 15 - 20 seconds how soft or flexible the parts are becoming. It will depend on the thickness of the ABS on the parts you are reshaping as to how long they need to be in the hot water, but once your happy run them under cold tap water to reset the plastic.
  16. Yes you can shorten from the writ end, otherwise, trim out all the return edge from that end first and then re-size as it can make a difference. No return edge equals screen accurate and Centurion lvl accurate That Thermal Det looks fantastic so keep up the great work.
  17. This is coming along so well!! keep up the great work Christine
  18. Hi all We will be adding a few new rules to the Ongoing Sales & Project Orders section of our forums. These are not being implemented because of any wrong doing, but rather to bring the sale of armor on our boards in to line with other sales items. These will eliminate any grey area and are general common sense that our armorers have adhered to in the past These will be published in the October News letter and the rules added to the section on the 8th October Rule 10 is only amended 10) Merchandise and or armor must be "in-hand" and ready to ship before accepting payment . Interest threads are allowed to determine selling order. New rules 13) Armor vendors must be on the vetted makers list and only the armorer can list their products. No agents 3rd party or shills. 14) Photos of armor kit or completed build are to be posted in the sales thread along with price and expected time frame for delivery. 15) Only armor relating directly to the Detachment can be advertised in this section, no costumes outside the FISD CRL's This section amended to clean up excess info not required. Please note when paying for any product and/or services: PayPal is always going to be a safe way to send any payment. However, you must understand NEVER to send any payment via the "Gift" option for any product, work or services. PayPal will not cover any transaction under the "Gift" option at all. Always use the "Goods and Services", option when sending payments so, that you have recourse through PayPal if any problems should arise during or after the transaction. NOTE: You have a 90 window with PayPal to file a dispute/claim. Never send cash and/or money orders. These can easily be lost and never the reach the proper person. Plus you have no record for any recourse.

  19. Yes affiliation is only good if you intend to vote in your Detachment election, it serves no other purpose or more to the the point, isn't used for anything else. A mass update occurs pre elections that as a rule picks up any that are showing no affiliation. To execute these one at a time is a monumental task and not an easy one either, unfortunately its not as simple as the push of a button and all is fixed.
  20. Fantastic job, great work guys.
  21. Very nice work sir. My only suggestion would be to shorten the top straps that connect your shoulder bells to the bridges. Try and get the top of the bells almost if not touching the edge of the bridges if possible.
  22. What a fabulous build, you should be very proud.
  23. Your Sniper plate is sitting as good as it can. The AP kit is impossible to mount with the ridges aligned at both sides without it sitting crooked. It look identical to mine and the other AP builds in my garrison or any other AP I have seen. No one will ever notice once you are wearing the kit as it is not obvious unless the viewer is on their hands and knees and 1 foot away lol. Great work on this build, very clean.
  24. Never heard of it sorry
