Hi Alex, and thank you for the feedback. As Chris mentioned, this is a learning curve for us, coming from all hard armour, so we are slowly learning. I have a set contact, who has given us a couple of small pieces of information on general costumes from the show, but as you can understand with NDA's etc there isn't a great deal they can share. I'm still working on that to get clarity on a few things, so I hope we can get some useful hints that may help us out here. Magnificent costume sir, I love your level of detail, it's beautiful.

Welcome back Cody! As you can see, we are still here and ready to assist where ever we can. Definitely create that build thread, it's the best way to get feedback. Use IMGUR to share images. It's a hosting site, which will allow you to share stacks of photos. (free to use) Use this thread to learn how.

Captain Variant research and screengabs

Excellent, I was hoping someone wanted to do this version. Brief discussion with staff so far is that this would be an addition to the existing IAC CRL as much is the same. Very exciting to see this costume come together and work on its inclusion to the line up. -
Joe, welcome back!, some here may not know who you are sir but good to see you here on the forums.

Is it possible to get individual armor parts and where?
Sly11 replied to Colin's topic in Hard Armor (General Discussion)
I believe if it is a DN kit (Denuo Novo) they may have spare parts available. They do advertise that from time to time. If it is another maker, then it is still possible if you know who the vendor for the armour is. Next is the issue of differing colour of the ABS plastic. This can change from batch to batch and definitely from supplier to supplier. If the parts are to be painted, then no issue, but you need to then match the paint. if you know the maker, please supply additional info so we can better assist. -
G'day there - new TK recruit from down under

Hi Chris, Most measurements when provided are still only a guide. Arms usually 15mm is the average yes, but if a mm or 2 are going to make the difference then that is usually ok. No one will get a ruler out and try and scale your images. As an example, some make the front cover strips as close as possible, (mine are actually 16mm wide) and on the rear they make them slightly wider if they need extra room. Thigh cover strips are around 15 - 20, and some have wider on the rear again for extra width if needed. My Ab plate buttons are definitely raised, although only around 3mm. I don't think there will be an issue with yours, but let's see if one of our Deployment officers chimes in with some input. More importantly, your armour needs to fit you well. Proportion to match the wearer is a common sense approach we have always taken, and we have troopers of all sizes in the detachment. Yours looks to fit you well, and only a couple of small dressing adjustments need to be done if you were to take photos for our next level Expert infantry. -
Have had plenty of success with NOMEX gloves, they are breathable so no sweaty hands. Rubber gloves here in Queensland, Australia are a rarity for trooping due to heat and crazy summer humidity.

Great news Francois, thanks brother. -
Welcome Christopher, great to see you are underway.

Welcome aboard James. Great costume choice, and a complex one at that, compared to our standard shiny white Stormtroopers. Research is indeed one of the most important aspects of our hobby, so you are on a good path already. Ask plenty of questions and do take a look at the CRL as it progresses. We still have a few details to nail down, but it's not far off completion. Definitely keep an eye on the Enoch thread you have visited.

I have added your 25 troops badge, congrats!!

A little easier for you with a CRL now. Any questions, we are here to help. Also, please note we have updated the CRL as it was discovered a couple of elements were inadvertently left out, so always check in to make sure you have the most up-to-date version. -

Still looking good so far. Make sure you put plenty of effort into concealing joins of the larger pieces and also removing the print lines. The CRL will contain a passage mentioning that visible print lines must be smoothed out for a more realistic appearance. This is a similar statement that we have had in place for 3D printed weapons and accessories but will now also cover armour parts due to more members printing armour. Keep up the great work
