  1. Welcome aboard Vascod, we are excited to assist you on your new journey.
  2. UPDATE: The Wiki platform that CRL's are created on is currently having several issues. This is preventing us from logging into the documents and continuing to add text and images to new CRL's. I am waiting on updates from the LWM and LMO teams, but currently have no time frame on access. Hoping it's resolved this week, so I can get this one complete and into the hands of the LMO's
  3. Little update Wiki Doc is fully constructed and images slowly being added. Construction of the CRL is well underway, but this draft is still up for review, not final by any means. Some changes have already been made from the first post draft, as I read through and re-word some items, so the language is familiar to other FISD CRL's. I will post a revised full version in the near future for further scrutiny before we submit to the LMO team for their review. They also may request further changes.
  4. Correct, but a discussion on recasting is best held in that area, not here where this thread is all about the vetted sellers of armour approved by many garrisons and our detachment. This thread offers a guide to them and also the who to avoid.

I use a combination of techniques. score and snap for larger areas that require removal, and a rotary tool with sanding drum for more detailed and closer work. with a little practice you will work out which to use and when.
  6. Great start Chris. I understand why they probably went with a resin TD as the original TFA TD's were solid resin and the weight substantial at almost 1.5kg
  7. You are officially further ahead on HWT than I am on mine. Still need to acquire 3 pouches and Tupperware boxes. Best of luck with your build.
  8. Also keep a lookout for the return of Praetorian Blasters on their FB page. New business model, and would be great to have these rubber blasters in the hands of member who chose to go down that path. As soon as we have more feedback from them, we shall look to update the vendor list https://www.facebook.com/BlasterMaker
  9. We will definitely have that in the CRL, both for armour and weapons. Once I have the Wiki Origin document set up with the layout, those messages will be added in and examples will be posted, so all can see how the CRL will start to look as a finished product.
  10. Glad to see you are still progressing with this.
  11. Looks very much Gold in this screen cap. Also adjusting the brightness and contrast, it stays the same colour as the end cap on his blaster.
  12. A great behind the scenes image of the R1 Space trooper.
  13. Wow, phenomenal photos, dead set amazing and looking like you just stepped off the production set.
  14. Welcome to FISD and a new adventure in becoming an Imperial Stormtrooper. We are here to help.
  15. For those without Some social media apps.
  16. Perfect, thanks Glen. I'll look to update on those over the next day or so.
  17. Welcome aboard trooper!
  18. Impressive, most impressive!
  19. Internal view of a TFA Helmet. No edge trim, but this one had a webbing set up and a chin strap to keep it on and in-place
  20. I would also like to add, once we have covered off all these parts and some feedback on wording etc, I would like to add a separate section for the Officer version with the additional red detail and blaster variant. I think because they are so close, we could have both covered in this one CRL with a few caveats indicating what is worn with what, but effectively 2 costumes. If we have enough feedback to show a separate CRL should be created specifically for the officer version, then that is also a viable option and an easy enough CRL build, providing we have someone willing to make those additional pieces and build an officer.
  21. Welcome to FISD Neil. Ask as many questions as possible so e can offer the right advice and get you on your new journey to becoming a Stormtrooper.
  22. 100%. CRL's do evolve as new info comes to light.
  23. The old moulds from the first film had started to collapse, hence the wonky helmet. I believe other parts were re moulded off existing kits as opposed to the old moulds, hence integrated ab buttons and those smaller details. The back and kidney plates were separate in ANH and ESB, yet a single piece on RotJ which points towards those parts moulded together. Additional edge trim was also added, not sure on the factual why, but it certainly could have covered cracking edges on re-used parts. They also sped up the assembly of the limbs by overlapping the edges for construction, where the ANH/ESB were done using a butt joint method. We have an armour maker that visits the forums @sskunky, he is very well versed in RotJ and can probably offer far more accurate information than I have provided.
  24. 3D files are available for the correct clips to make the DN helmet more accurate. I personally haven't had my hands on a DN, X Anovos TLJ helmet, to see how they are attached, but we certainly have members here that have and also replaced them with said printed clips. https://www.whitearmor.net/forum/topic/52039-mrpoopietherascalkings-tfa-tlj-first-order-stormtrooper-greeblie-pack/
