Not stupid at all, we all learn from experience, you have learnt something new and one day you will help someone with the same problem I still learn things here all the time and Ive been around for 6 years, it's why this community is so great. Troopers helping troopers. -
Yep, they got your email, hopefully you will have some feedback soon.

Dead Post Links & Broken Photos, How You Can Help
Sly11 replied to Sly11's topic in Forum Help & Support
It may have been restricted by the member as-well. You can archive it Glen I tried to fix it myself but same deal. At least it will still reside on the boards just in archive section. -

Does the Glue feel hard or soft if you scratch it with a blade. If it is soft it may well be E6000, but if it is hard like resin, then it is probably CA glue also known as Super Glue. CA glue doesn't stick well to CA glue so you might need to try and sand it down a bit then thoroughly clean the surfaces with mentholated spirits or similar. Definitely reach out to RS and ask as mentioned above by Marcel, their customer service it very good. -
Popcorn time everyone

There is a 2 part CA glue solution for gluing hard to stick materials like latex. It has a pen which you use to put a coating on the surface, then the tube of glue to apply. Same stuff many use to bond the latex hand plates to rubber gloves and it works very well. You could do a test with a similar product to give the added reassurance that it will work.

And I would never ask you to , good man

You could still completer this helmet and give it a really funky paint scheme as a display piece

There are 4 of them so hopefully one of them gets back to you quickly. I just PM'd them to let them know you have sent the email.

CLOSED - CRL for Force Unleashed Stormtrooper
Sly11 replied to mikedwelle94's topic in The Force Unleashed Stormtrooper
Yeah i think we just leave it as overlap method, so those that decide they wish to convert from RoTJ can make the necessary changes without having to rip armour apart. Glen if you are picking up the mantle on this CRL that's fantastic, i look forward to your progress and build thread. -

Yep, talk with the LMO's on both the boots and the cape before making any decisions, I'm sure they would like to be part of your process and it will make life easier for you in the long run.
