Nothing says we need cameras on but that can be up to the individual certainly. Some prefer the visual contact side, others don't. For me, I'm happy either way.

Without a shadow of a doubt, size it with him for the best fit and end result. I have seen many commission builds done with just measurements and considering those vendors do them frequently, they still dont give imo the best result possible. Trim something too small and you cant go back, trim something too large and you can simply trim more off. Always size parts wearing the under suit or boots if it is shins, tape parts together as you are sizing them on the wearer and make your pencil marks for your trim lines. Trim slightly larger than you need then do another test fit and remark and go again to get it just right.

Only initial ideas so far but here are some thoughts. Ideal numbers: 2 experts (one must be staff to chair the chat, can both be staff) Number of New members with questions in the live chat: (4 -6) min/max too many or to few and it gets to difficult or isn't worth the time and effort. Time Frame: based on platform used 45 minutes - 1 hour. Questions: must have your top need to know questions submitted 3 days before the event. limit of 2 questions submitted by each participant. Conversation would drive the rest of the Q and A Time zones: this is the toughest of all and would require the most planning based on country the new members were in and the staff/experts.

So if we get enough interest for this type of thing, I'm all for it but would like to do a 1 off trial. initially. We need a benchmark to gauge ongoing viability. As has been mentioned, time zones are the real issue to overcome, but with some planning, I'm sure we can do it. This year may be the chance to get away with it. The LMO's seem satisfied to work with the action figures as long as it is not the only point of reference. Cardinal has a figure but the helmet is wrong for the era (figure shows TLJ style helmet) in reality it is an TFA style so the figure helmet is not acceptable. Cardinal also has a book with some reference images and descriptions, hence why they feel there is enough information to accurately reproduce this character costume. The Mandalorion Incinerator has screen references although not as much as we would have all liked to see, the figure in this instance would take a huge back seat to the costume and CRL and if at all, only be complimentary to it. We already have a member working towards this costume and we will co-write the CRL with him once his build is complete.

Att all who are currently building the R1 TK We have finalised the update on the CRL with an extensive re write and the addition of more approved accessories. Please note that if you are currently working on this build, you have an option on which version of the CRL you follow as we will have a 3 month grace period to cover you. Expires 17th December Option 1. Continue with the now outdated CRL (only available to those who started their build before the CRL update) prior to 16th September 2020. Option 2. Work to the new CRL. All new R1 TK builds from today 17 Sept 2020, must use the new CRL To be honest there are only a couple of things that have changed from basic, but they will effect approval by your GML so if you are using the old version, I have attached a PDF copy of it below as you may need to supply it along with your submission when applying for basic approval. The bulk of the changes effect Expert Infantry and Centurion handled locally by our Deployment officers. Hi Sebastian, and thank you for your application for Expert Infantry Due to the significance of this occasion, and although the entire DO staff combined their efforts to complete this review, they have requested I have the honor of as Detachment Leader to post it up. It's not every day we welcome the 1000th EI to the ranks, so without further delay, let's get to it. CRL and EIB Application Requirements All required photos are now in and, after review, we are pleased to welcome you to EI! On behalf of the entire FISD Staff and myself, congratulations not only on your accomplishment, but for having the honor of being # 1000 ! Other-Armor Fit/Assembly In this area we review observations made by your fellow troopers and the DO team. Some observations may lead to suggestions to improve the overall look of your armor. Note that we consider both text (CRL) and pictures (screen caps/reference images) when reviewing submissions. Overall a really nice set of armor here, brother, and most of the items in this area are simple dressing/strapping issues. Your bucket seems to be riding a bit high in comparison with most seen onscreen (which sat pretty low). Not a deal breaker for Level 3 by any means, but if you have excess padding in the top, removing or reducing it will help it ride a bit lower and maybe even help your visibility! (Joseph) Reference images Reference images (Note how neck seal is barely seen). Although you have the correct number of ribs and shiny finish as required, note that the neck-seal should ideally have the zipper closure in the front. (Joseph) Reference images Moving down to your arms, we noted that the right forearm goes lower than the left one one creating a symmetry issue. This is a simple dressing issue you may want to check every time when putting on your armor. (Mario) Reference images Rotating thighs inwards would avoid the inside seams can be seen, it will also reduce the black area between the thighs and cod as well as move the thigh away from the posterior plate as they appear to be hitting on the rear. (Mario) Reference images Looking at your TD from the side, there's a noticeable gap between your TD and the backplate that you may want to make some adjustment to reduce it. (Mario) Reference images It looks as if you may be leaning to the left in your rear photo, which is causing your posterior plate overlap the left thigh. Although the front photo shows your thighs at a matching height, the rear angle makes the left one look to be sitting higher, causing the gaps between the tops of the calves and bottom of the thighs to seem uneven. Note the distance between the bottom of the posterior plates and tops of the thighs below. (Joseph) Reference images We are suggesting trimming your cod to better reflect the angle as seen in TLJ. Note in the reference images that the bottom part is thinner and actually curves underneath. (Joseph) Centurion Requirements In this section we prepare you for Centurion. More photos may be requested in the future that allow us to make better decisions on possible adjustments. If there are any areas of concern they will be discussed here. Because Centurion photos show much more detail than EIB, items to pertaining to Centurion might be seen there and not here. We try to point out all that we can from what is seen, but the final accuracy is the responsibility of the trooper. As they say, "The Devil is in the details". Since every single item can't be listed in the CRLs, we must rely on screen captures and official references when doing reviews. You certainly nailed many of the finer details of this costume, but there area few that need to be addressed before we can get that Centurion badge under your name. Some will be easy and some will take some effort, but we have faith that you can do it and make this a truly spectacular set of armor! Something to be aware of is that the tops of your forearms have a curve (as seen in TFA) rather than a slight angle as seen in TLJ. (Joseph) TFA TLJ Reference images It appears that your TD mount and TD plate are one piece, and although not specifically mentioned in the CRLs (yet) they must be 2 separate components. (Joseph) Reference images You have one fantastic looking blaster there, but unfortunately the rear has the details as seen in TFA. A rectangular "D-ring" must be present, and both it and the mount need to be white. (Joseph) Reference images Another small detail that is missing from your weapon is the presence of a light mount on the barrel also known as Picatinny (Pic) rail . You can find it online on several types and sizes (Joseph) Reference image And that's it, sir! You have truly done the Legion, the FISD and the German Garrison proud with this build, and being EI #1000 will give you bragging rights for years! In addition to this distinction, you will be receiving a FREE 11 inch patch, 2 free March to 1000 pins and a specially designed certificate. (I will PM you with the details). Certainly looks like the AT-TC driver version of the Shore trooper. You can try and ye it black just check what the materials are it is made from.

Hi Scott, very nice set of armour you have there. Just one little thing you will need to change and then submit new images for. The snaps on the butt place and the split cay viret on the cod, look like they are painted white. Could be the lighting I'm not sure. These need to be unpainted as per the CRL for EI which means you would need to remove any paint from them. Cod A split (bifurcated) or single cap rivet is present on the lower tab (cod area) of the abdomen armor. Rivet does not need to be functional. Rivet on must be brass or silver in color, approximately 5/16" (8mm) in diameter and is not painted. Posterior Two male snaps are present on the lower center tab of the Posterior Armor. Snaps do not need to be functional. Snaps are silver in color with the bottom of the snap facing outward and are not painted.
