  1. Split to new topic: How to make your ANOVOS kit more accurate http://www.whitearmor.net/forum/topic/32916-how-to-make-your-anovos-kit-more-accurate/
  2. Because at the time CTN did not have a good source for them. And, there continues to be no good source for them. Perhaps if they put them in L3 standards or such, maybe someone would.
  3. That is my understanding. I hope to apply for approval later this month. Just have a few tweaks left.
  4. Cool - I just was looking at the CRL only...great job on that
  5. Looking good. The attention to detail is fantastic and it will be great to see this done. Troopers Helping Troopers, indeed The TFA will certainly be wanting for a team approach..."It will not be easy".
  6. The main worry on the ruck sack idea is not so much that it would get crushed, but also that it would get scratched, a lot. Cordura will not be nice to armor. I had to transport my armor up to the Great Wall in China in backpacks, but that was a one-off and it was painted armor, so I didn't mind so much. As John & Sierra noted, long term it's not a good idea and a hard case bin or box is a better way to go.
  7. AFAIK, the helmet is prototyped out and a run may start. I know one person working on armor from pep files, but I'm guessing there may be more...it should be a hot costume to get ...
  8. Has anyone tried it with Edge first? Just curious...
  9. Any ideas on what they put in the ammo pouches? I wonder if all of a sudden these things will be "out of stock" LOL
  10. Need photos of the boots?
  11. Wait, so it's a found part? It says pre-order only - any other way to get one? Would love to have it for the opening...
  12. Actually the real question should be: where can I get one :)
  13. I think in the end what would close out this thread is a simple bulleted list of things people can do to make their ANOVOS kits any more accurate than they already are. I think it's been established that these are small details, and the accuracy of the current ANOVOS suits is very, very good.
  14. Good idea Brian - thanks! I'll grab a few myself.
  15. Gotchit - thanks!
  16. Agreed. I think that ties for the fastest every (1 person, 1 suit, 1 day to trim it all out). Great job!
  17. Thanks for the notes.
  18. I have that kit and it's not much like the figurine. I know he's making one that is, or was making one that is.
  19. Wait - are these different from the TFA helmets that were bought at C7, or the same?
  20. An IC is an easy way to get 501st membership. Just sayin!
  21. I know a bunch of people are doing gloves, boots, and E-11's, but maybe I missed it, is anyone doing a run of side arms yet? I'm able to start trooping again, and really want that part squared away.
  22. This is coming out nicely
  23. Thanks. We can do bubble for L2...
