  1. So close - git 'er done so we can bust past 50% of MEPD!
  2. Best of fortune to you. The hobby will always be here for you when you need it. You've been a super star on FISD for a long time - you deserve a break!
  3. All set Seth - but you simply have to explain BlueCow.
  4. Glad to hear - I can't wait for you to be *done* and Terrel to give a big
  5. That's a nice set of AP and you did a good job with it. I think you're set, but then I'm soon to fall asleep at my keyboard. Terrell should have the word soon enough. Personally I think it's off to the detention center with you - small reactor leak to take care of.

    Live Chat?

Sorry 'bout that - guess I should remove the link some day =:-0
  7. Welcome both to TK-hood and EIB status - nice to get both at the same time practically. It's an awesome suit and I love the details.
  8. After compiling the records and discussing it with staff, I'm awarding the initial batch of 20 to the following folks: Chazz (Gundamzeppelin) - pushed fabric belts early on Commander Dragas - helping out many new folks Tony (Stomper) - promoting correct hovis with speakers Paul (T M) - numerous contributions in terms of information regarding costumes John Danter - first Space Trooper, among many achievements Chris (Smitty) - contributions too numerous, helping out many new folks tkrestonva - always helping out new folks with comments, contributing more than many staff dougefresh - numerous posts helping and encouraging new members Joey (TK 2126 MD) - enthusiasm and tenacity in *being* Outpost Bolivia Pete (Stukatrooper) - awesome tutorials that help out many troopers Mike (TK-4510) - ground breaking tutorials on helmets Nathan (TK-9135) - helping out new folks, adding to esprit de corp with his spirit of giving Russ (Ruf Terrain) - pioneering the accurate ab buttons in tutorial and sales back when the FISD was brand new TKDueno - for showing us what a real E-11 looks like Stormtrooper - first to bring us latext hand plates TK-8280 - first ROTJ EIB ThayNerd - first ANH/ESB EIB nothingrecorded - hours of dedication in getting the visual requirements for the TK commander nailed down ForlornHope - for pushing almost single handedly at times to get the TK commander details worked out Also, prior staff : Carlos, Scott M., Exodus, TK4999 all for their service. Wow, that seems like a lot, huh? Perhaps in light of the fact that we have 5,839 registered members, and about 500 detachment members (that's 501st AND TK), this is less than 5% of our detachment membership. That's an even more select group than our EIB members (about 80 so far). Congrats to the recipients. Thank you so much for your dedication to the detachment. As Synaptyx says as our unofficial motto: Troopers Helping Troopers! That's what FISD is all about. And with that, this topic is closed.
  9. And that's all that matters! Nice
  10. If you mail it to me, I could tell for sure ;-) ** but yeah, it need not be functional. It's a prop after all...
  11. Outstanding! Perhaps adjust the butt, but should be an easy pass trooper.
  12. Vern - then you should have simply posted the link and asked if they were any good. What you did was post an advertisement for the guy.
  13. +1. That's why we thought it was a bragging thread.
  14. The 501st currently allows FX helmets, but considering you can get nicer helmets for the same price they're slowly making their way out of the Legion.
  15. It's not codified to a specific length - more if it looks right, flies right.
  16. Holy crap - Gina's in da' house! Better mind your P's and Q's, lads. Lou's got great advice - it's mostly fit and finish. I'd move the shoulder straps forward a bit actually rather than trim them, and lower the cod/butt as they look a little high on you.
  17. Excellent - can't wait to see pix
  18. The reality is this: 1) There is no current official 501st CRL for *any* costume. 2) I have an action item to talk to Thomas (LMO) about when we can expect one for the TK costume. 3) Until such time as there is a 501st CRL for the TK costumes, we here at FISD will post one that we believe should be adopted by the Legion. It will *not* be an official 501st standard. To be clear, as of today there is no documented 501st standard for this costume - people are going off of memory and custom.
  19. I'll take 'em any way I can get 'em.
  20. OK, now I want more pix (greedy lil' bugger, aren't I?). That one is a nice teaser _
  21. If nothing else it should inspire others to pop their cherry
  22. This is a borderline delete-able post. Are you just shilling for these guys? You shouldn't be posting for sale links to someone else's stuff, especially when you offer no warrant on their work. You can get better lenses more reliably from members in good standing on this board.
  23. Gloves may/may not work. The real kicker is to have no straps and ensure that no wrist is visible.
  24. Is there any more information than this? It would be a greater courtesy to include a picture and perhaps a personal review of this product and perhaps even a pix of you wearing it. Else it's hard to say, isn't it?
