  1. Yup - many of the notes are really good suggestions to tighten it up, but are not all required elements.
  2. They look sweet indeed! Just beautiful Paul
  3. Who's to say he won't be on staff next year...
  4. And promptly delegated to staff - Billy/Mark. Another good DL move
  5. Both are for detachment members only CRL POLL http://forum.whitearmor.net/index.php?showtopic=9572 EIB POLL http://forum.whitearmor.net/index.php?showtopic=9573
  6. Does anyone currently make these for E-11/MG-34? I ask in that Stomper used to but is not shipping from what I understand. Smitty used to sell some but it wasn't 100% accurate. IIRC there was a site that offered them but I can't find them anymore. Not sure about anyone else, but I need a nice set for both my weapons and would prefer to pay a little more $$ to get better quality/accuracy than what I used in the past.
  7. Hm...we should probably make a list...
  8. Holy smokes - you did all this in 2 weeks? ::whistles:: Looking super tight so far, will be awesome to see this completed. There are few ROTJ TK's in the Legion - showing pix of the deltas to ANH will be helfpful to many.
  9. Well, you certainly get what you pay for
  10. Wow - pricing is great! I tried looking into something like this but the costs were much higher. $20 is very reasonable.
  11. I've cycled through a lot of costumes and keep coming back to my TK & TD. I have garrison mates that have single costumes and there's something to be said for it - they have the time/resources to really pimp out that one costume to the max rather than having several costumes that aren't quite 100% or are more basic. Also, they've never taken a loss selling a costume either
  12. I'm officially jealous - great catch Rolf and of course a big salute to TM
  13. Who were you sending it to?
  14. I thought ANH canon was bakelight. I'd have to see hires of both Mos Eisley as well as looking at the one Han had. I wonder if they were identical, or if they were painted between Tunisia & England. IIRC back when these guns were made they did not use wood but bakelite for the stocks.
  15. Really? How so? Avatar actually reminds me a bit of The Sparrow : http://www.amazon.com/Sparrow-Mary-Doria-R...1188&sr=8-2 (yes, I cried a points reading it, but then I saw a lot of crying eyes at Avatar too) It seems to me that Cameron really marches to the beat of his own drum. These stories are *very* old comparatively if you include printed Sci-Fi. Let's go back to a review of Xenogenesis (1978) "the themes of Xenogenesis are pretty similar to his more bigger budget movies: tough female character, love and machines as in how machines can be either benefit or a threat." We can go back further - think Star Trek in the 70's if you want TV, way before Lucas. Strong female characters are if anything a product of the times - look back before the 70's and there's very few strong female characters in SciFi TV or literature. It was in the 70's that women started leaving the home and working - I remember as I was one of the first latch key generations.
  16. FYI that I've added two discussion threads for the HWT & Stormtrooper Commander costumes for CRL & EIB in the detachment members only area: HWT : http://forum.whitearmor.net/index.php?showtopic=9496 TKC : http://forum.whitearmor.net/index.php?showtopic=9523 After the discussion period is over there will be a BINDING poll to accept/reject. Both are stickied so should be easy to find. --end transmission
  17. I suspect it will all come down to story. Indiana Jones had Ford in the last installment but the movie was boring. Having a new actor is less relevant than having a great storyline.
  18. What does that even mean? Someone laser scanned it an upsized it by 5%? Not sure that would work - Kevin made whole new bucks for his tall/short clone parts, else the proporitions don't always work for the human body. From what I saw it looks like it's just AM, but more info would be helpful.
  19. You are lucky because: 1) Your wife supports your hobby 2) Your wife is hot 3) Your kid looks good too Bet your house is full of cold beer and warm pizza, and you have a super fast metabolism that allows you to eat anything.
  20. LOL - my daughter is 5 and my son 2-3/4, so I know what you mean. It was lent for just a few hours.
