  1. Awesome Freduster! Congrats! Looks great among your other certificates. Thanks Tino as well for the nod! Great to see these released in the wild especially for super blaster builders who use the reference. Well deserved!
  2. Oh yeah, sorry Tino, I should have noticed that too. Your builds are like pages out sacred texts. Never leave home without them!.
  3. Jesse, you nailed the scope paint job. I own a few real ones and must say that your scope paint is spot on. The lighting really shows that subtle sheen. Your hard work and attention to detail continues to pay off. Got popcorn ready for the power cylinders. With Andy's awesome research I am sure your cylinders will be epic.
  4. Nice work on the paint so far. If you are not satisfied with the under layer of brass/gold after you paint the scope black, try looking into brush on metallic paints that you can polish after painting. They look quite impressive when done correctly. For the black coat, as already mentioned, semi-gloss more than flat black.
  5. Nice! Can’t wait to this all together and painted up. AmZing work hollowing it out and adding the finest touches with the micro screws.
  6. Great work hollowing that out. You will get a nice amount of light passing through.
  7. Fieldmarshall might be able to supply a single trigger if you ask.
  8. Yes, nice touch using the rubber o ring. I have been testing using them too on my scope kits to hold the smaller end lens in place instead of using glue. Nice find on the micro screws. This is one major scope operation and is coming along great. More popcorn needed.lol.
  9. As Tino said, lens curved side faces outward on both ends. If you are in need of the outer retaining rings both large and small, let me know and I can send some resin ones I have from my kits. Great work on the scope!
  10. Nice, clean build thread . Looking forward to seeing you finish this. Keep up the great work! Also PM if you get a chance. Sent you a few messages but haven't heard back yet. I am ready to resend your package.
  11. The scope came out great. Love this build. Sorry I have not been commenting lately. Hope to catch up on this build in detail on my train ride tomorrow morning. Keep up the great work.
  12. https://www.facebook.com/media/set/?set=a.2214560615494348&type=1&l=7882c00bd3 Some useful info for the scopes and assembling the kit with the supplied lenses.
  13. Yes, as Tino mentioned there were modified scopes it seems with added lens attachments, some modified internally to make them into microscopes. But the smaller end lens housing (cylindrical part sticking out) was never removed, just those attachments added using the threading on the inside. I know the feeling to want to add realism as much as possible but I would keep the scope end original and try to add just the lens. You can can give it a try though if you want to and order another resin scope from doopy if you decide to go the other way. That’s what I did. I ordered a second scope just in case I destroyed mine during the hollowing process.
  14. Late to this build. Wow, nice work put in so far. Great fix on the folding stock.
  15. I was worried about that too. Looks like you will need a lot of the sheets to piece together the shoulder areas. I am not entirely sure how well I can even do that even if it did cover enough area. They do look nice though. I need something better than my rubber gaskets as they are heavy and not easy to move in.
  16. Has anyone here purchased Imperial Boots gasket sheets for their FOTK? If so, Just want to know your thoughts on the quality, durability of them.
  17. Definitely hope you do a tutorial on the electronics if you get a chance. Really want to learn more about the voltage regulator and were you sourced it. Electronics is still a foreign language to me. For the chromed parts, did the finish rub off at all? Impressed how nice they came out. I did a can spray on mine and it looked great but then it dulled with time and contact. Really love all the pics too, super blaster build.
  18. Fantastic news! Great to have you back on the forum again. Thanks for the kind words Tino. We all have each other's backs here and just happy to help out when I can. I want to thank the troopers here too for responding and giving their support for a trooper in need. Hope your email situation can be sorted out by the tech ream.
  19. Impressive! The silver dry brush applocation came out great. The bolt has that real metal look to it.
  20. Thanks for the info. I was aware of the LMBO for legion names, etc. but didn’t think about LFL for 421. If we ever consider to go forward with a patch we will certainly do all the proper checks. Will wait to hear about the new info from LFL too. Better safe than sorry. Cheers Q.
  21. Lol. Nothing official buts let’s get this started. A patch sounds like a great idea.
  22. Thanks again all. I sent Tino all your messages and waiting to hear back d¥from him. Appreciate the help. Thanks Chris for validating his email.
  23. Tino said that when he tried to reset his password, it said a validation message would be sent to his email address. The validation messages never arrive in his inbox. So in turn he can never reset the password. Hope the tech team can find a solution. Thanks for your suggestions so far.
  24. I think he said he tried that but something went wrong. I will check back with him again and ask.
  25. Thanks Q! Much appreciated!
