  1. They have Leia in the 2nd vid
  2. I don't think I would want to do that in real armor haha
  3. Those full suits are nice though.. but yeah, if they ask so much for the helmet alone, it makes me wonder how much they want for the whole suit lol
  4. $3500? Really??? http://store.carbonfibergear.com/carbon-fiber-stormtrooper-helmet-as-seen-on-pawn-stars-1-of-1 And they actually sold it too... Crazy! They first tried to sell it in a pawn shop on the History Channel: http://www.history.com/shows/pawn-stars/videos/pawn-stars-hair-force-one#pawn-stars-hair-force-one ...they asked 4000! Even the 1000 they offered was too much if you ask me. Thanks to Mr. Gardner for posting this on the Legion boards (yup, I stole it )
  5. OMG why don't they have my size? Sent from my SAMSUNG-SGH-I747 using Tapatalk 2
  6. Just make sure the bucket is not too tight... that way you can move your head a little bit without moving the bucket
  7. +1 they're awesome girls!
  8. lol not really.. I'm warm blooded, I hate the cold, always did lol. When I was a kid, when we had snow, I often wore two pants over each other lol.. and no need to be jealous.. it's averaging 65 lately (colder at night/warmer during the day) and it's wet, wet, wet in the area where I live now lol.. (ok, if you're in town (Honolulu), then it's easily 75-80, we just made a tactical error last year when we bought this house and came from a more desert-like area here in HI (where it was easily 90F during the day, 95 inside the house lol)). Oh well, I'm complaining now but at times I do miss my old country.. and since Ed and Julie left the islands, my wife and I have given moving out of HI also a lot of thought... things are considerably cheaper on the mainland, plus flying to Europe would be cheaper too, giving me more chances in seeing my family. I totally agree, I know Ed's offer and it's too good to pass on, especially with the low cost of living on the mainland. If we were you guys we would've done the same. Funny enough what you are going for now was always my plan (still thinking about doing it), to have a home here and one in Europe (ok, you're in TN lol). We got one advantage on you guys though, we will not be without a home in HI if we sell this one (one of them is just in a 'wrong' area, down in Waipahu lol)
  9. sorry lol I'm from the Netherlands but I'm complaining when it hits below 70 here in HI lol
  10. Good luck, Karin. Hope things work out for the best for you.
  11. This is so awesome! And I'm happy to see you will soon be starting a new run because my plans are back up so I want one, especially now lol
  12. If you have to use something for a movie and you know up front the armor is most likely going to be damaged, I would indeed use armor like this as this is much cheaper than some of the other armors. You can mod them to TD afterwards indeed, as long as it is minor damage. It's not that much that you would have to change
  13. My thought exactly, I really like it
  14. Maybe that's what he meant.. Hope not for you, you'd be very busy lol Unless, and there is a catch... often I hear people say "the next" when they mean the one after this coming one.. Like "next Thursday" is not meant as this coming Thursday but the one after that. Kinda saved him for the second time in this thread with a loophole lol
  15. Now that would be a nice goal! I'd say we go with this! Only 199 to go as of this moment
  16. Congrats with the EIB, well deserved!
  17. Now what did I tell you? Congrats on EIB!
  18. Woohoo! 300 finally passed! And within a years time! Next 600? Sure, why not... but don't make it a year haha
  19. Awesome! Great job, and number 300 also
  20. looking good, should be any moment until you get that approval
  21. Congratulations Gaspi! Looking good indeed!
  22. No worries, you understood correctly. There is hope for the Google translator Looking very good imho! Because of that one picture I wasn't sure if it was an air bubble or something else but now I can see it very clear. No issues there at all You're correct. I couldn't see this really clear in that first picture, probably because of the angle it was taken so I automatically thought it was an air pocket. I did indeed notice everything else was hand painted, just wasn't so sure about that single one
  23. The changes are looking good! I like the patch idea. Many of the 501st are crazy about patches, and while I hardly buy any patches of something that I am not affiliated to one way or the other, I promise you to make a purchase as well when I see the patch pop up You're right about the labor, that by itself is worth something as well. And true, as long as people are informed, then you did your job With the things that's going on with you right now, with all that you already have to deal with and how you are able to talk about this FX thing at the same time, and with the things you're doing and will be doing, I think she would be proud indeed! Looking forward to that patch!
  24. Looking very nice! One question.. in the picture here: http://img208.imageshack.us/img208/6774/44443434.jpg is that an airpocket under the sticker or simply reflection? If it's an airpocket, you might want to fix it, if it's a reflection, maybe it's an idea to take a picture from a slight different angle so it shows better. Of course, I am not the DO and he might not care about it but it's something he has mentioned in the past, that's why I mention it to you atm Very nice looking build all in all!
  25. I really must have monkey arms and legs.. we're only 1 inch different in size and your AP armor looks so much better on you than it does on me! Should be an easy pass, good luck!
