  1. Lol that was epic yeah And nah, not on the cantina song, there was some Xmas song from Frank Sinatra actually hehe
  2. "Who is my daddy, and what does he do" Hahaha awesome!
  3. Congrats Walt I'm gonna go with my birthday/time June 26th, 3.42pm CET... boy
  4. lol I actually kind of did this a few troops ago xD
  5. No worries, any edit for Centurion also needs to be done for EIB.. it's not like having to do something in the first level, and having to undo it in the next level (which does happen elsewhere lol)
  6. I love that picture at the Golden Gate, so much awesome!
  7. I agree, it is not necessary to have under the entire armor, and I think it would be better if it is just in the areas where it's visible. However, the areas that is just undersuit right now, are usually the spots where you catch that little breeze to cool a bit down. We may lose that, depending on the material used And yeah, it is very unlikely they created this armor with us on their minds. They probably know we'll get that armor made one way or another anyways xD

  9. I loved most of it, and seeing the new TK armor makes me quite excited! I certainly hope to get one of those at some point, but yeah, that undersuit... it's going to be very, very warm.. right now it is the only spot that relieves us from some of that heat, but I can see how it can become quite hot. Then again, maybe someone can make it water cooled with water flowing through the ribs xD One thing I did not like, and honestly wonder about the functionality, is the light saber. There may be a story behind it, and I surely hope so, but right now, nah, don't like that one lol
  10. I don't know about the rest, but that concept art makes me pretty excited and curious about the real thing! Can't wait until they release a full picture, and what's more, to get my hands on some armor
  11. Well, that's one change I cannot make to keep my armor at EIB, let alone Centurion. Like many others, I hope this will be changed to Centurion, after the detachment had a vote on it.

    Funny mix-up

Hahaha love it when wives are silly like that
  13. Awww now the armor for my 4 year old is not going to be EIB anymore... it has visible rivets at the sniper knee lol
  14. Thanks, if the rash guards don't with out I'll give that a try Sent from my SAMSUNG-SGH-I747 using Tapatalk 2
  15. How did I not think of that... *bangs head against wall* Thanks Eric
  16. I'm currently working on a TKC for my 4 year old daughter (gonna be a TKC with pink stripes instead of blue since she's a girl lol) but because of her small and skinny size, I'm having some trouble finding certain soft parts (garters, gloves, undersuit, boots etc). Actually I should say that with her sizes it's hard to get any decent soft parts at all lol.. Luckily I have been able to find some replacements, but one thing I haven't been able to find yet so I figured I'd ask my brothers in arms for some advice. I already figured I could look for tights for her legs instead of actual compression stuff (and that too is hard to get in black, sigh) but I have no clue what to get for her upper body. Any ideas what may be suitable? Since we do live in Hawaii, I do want something that isn't too thick or warm for her. And preferably I'm looking for online stores/sellers that live in the US so I can get it asap (originally I was looking to finish her TKC by next weekend for a con that we have here). Thanks so much in advance
  17. I just replied to the PM but figured I'd reply in here as well, just in case someone else wants to know what I thought of it Anyways, Matthias is correct, I do have the original brackets in my AP and, honestly, I love it. Since the AP is one of the smaller armors, and I'm one of the bigger troopers (lol), the armor is a bit tight to get into sometimes and the spots that have snaps (such as the shoulder bells) sometimes pop off. I can imagine this might actually happen with other parts if not for the original brackets. I am pretty rough to my armor and sometimes throw it around (seriously lol). Any scratches I get from this I just regard as battle damage, so it's not like I handle my armor with extra care. However, the armor never cracked or shows any signs of strain, not even at the spots where the brackets are. Personally I love the brackets and I think I would have had more issues with my armor if I'd go with the snaps instead. For those interested, here are some pics of the inside of my armor: --------------
  18. Not really, AP isn't the cheapest armor around afaik and, in my case, I only got it because I could have it in a matter of a few weeks instead of several months, I'm an impatient one lol. Btw, it indeed lacks the return edges on the back/butt plate but that didn't stop me from using the bracket system instead of the screws. It worked out nice and holds great Sent from my SAMSUNG-SGH-I747 using Tapatalk 2
  19. Sad to see you go, Karin, but I'm glad to know it's not the end of your famous hand guards! Hope you'll be fine in whatever you'll be doing
  20. Congrats on the promotion, Phil. I'm sure you'll be doing a great job And thanks to Mathias for your hard work as DO and your continuous work behind the scenes
  21. Seems this person re-uses the same description, everytime with the same TKID of her... http://www.ebay.com.au/itm/Star-Wars-Stormtrooper-FX-M-Movie-Accurate-Costume-Prop-Armor-501st-Legion-/161049052076?pt=LH_DefaultDomain_0&hash=item257f4583ac quite tasteless imho... I'm wondering if it should be reported to eBay, and if they would actually do something about it.. edit: oh, and yes, it does seem to be an AP if I compare it to some of the things in my armor.. one thing that does amaze me, though, is how little black I see around his knees and arms compared to me in my own AP while I'm an inch shorter than him..
