TK-10029 Requesting AHN Stunt EIB status [RS][299]
svache replied to gaspi's topic in Request Expert Infantry Status
I'm guessing Phil said all that needs to be said really, in overall a great looking build! Good luck on the approval -

I really don't like you... your armor is too good looking! haha I love it Great job on the armor, should be yet another easy approval for you! -
Yeah same happened to me a couple of times yesterday.. After closing and opening the browser it turned back to normal.... I have no idea if that was actually the reason it went back to normal (can't imagine it is but who knows) but something doesn't seem quite right indeed :S
-
True, there's too many. A lot of people start with TK and move on to something else, for many it is a bit of a starter kit. There's even people who got rid of their TK but never even officially had their armor retired and are still listed there :/

I doubt there is any need for that.. compare your thread to other ones, so many people nitpicking on those, here you hear nothing of that, just compliments -
Although I think it would be very cool, I doubt that would happen to all 26 lol
-
Only 26 left.. that's not much.. Let's see what we reach faster.. 2500 total TK's or 300 EIB's
-
that's actually a pretty cool idea imho.. maybe it's an idea to start that up for those who are interested in it (that way ppl don't have to feel obligated) Sent from my SAMSUNG-SGH-I747 using Tapatalk 2

Where does your armor bite you the most?
svache replied to fritzthefox's topic in Hard Armor (General Discussion)
Lol exactly the same with me, I get blue bruises on the inside of my forearms, making it really look like someone who shoots himself up daily lol Sent from my SAMSUNG-SGH-I747 using Tapatalk 2 -
Didn't see this topic until now... hmm, I think I'm going to give myself a promotion soon
-
lol I like that kind of stuff, keep 'em coming

I have a good feeling we'll be seeing a chance in topic title any time soon...

Very nice build! I like the battle damaged Tantive IV look you have.. it gives me inspiration for a possible next build I don't think there is much to nitpick about your build (that, or it's too early for me to look better lol) so I think this will be another easy approval for the DO.. looking forward in welcoming you to EIB! -

I think they'll be ok, it looks like they show what they need to show -

Dang.. that almost makes me want to throw away my own armor lol Since the DO already mentioned he would look past the gaps on the side, I cannot imagine not to see an instant approval all the way up to centurion.. -

I must have missed that bit in the EIB thread but no worries, like said, it's not really a requirement as far as I know, just more comfortable For the thighs, I understand what you mean with being comfortable and still look good. Of course, if anything you can have them a bit up for the pictures and drop them to the original position again when you start trooping.. but, either way, I doubt it's going to be an issue really Shouldn't be too long before the DO will make his entrance again and gives his views, if anything -
While I can't help you with how it looks like, here's an article where they came up with the figures: http://www.centives.net/S/2012/how-much-would-it-cost-to-build-the-death-star/

Ughh... this is terrible.. I was writing some pointers for you and I accidentally click on something, losing everything I wrote :S Oh well, let's bump this thread up again First thing I noticed really is the bit of gap between the kidney and ab plate on your left side so you might want to have a shim there. Ideally there should be no gap and while I know first hand this is not always 100% achieveable due to someone's build, I don't think you have that problem much I love how your armor fits you well and shows very little black but I would like to suggest to pull the thighs up just a little bit, if possible (don't know if you can, might be a upper leg width problem if it's too tight). It's probably good to go as it is, I just think if it's a bit more up it'll look even better. The next thing I wrote down was about your dropboxes. Now, this is not a requirement as far as I know but I would like to advise you to attach the straps differently to the back of your dropboxes, ideally like this: http://www.whitearmo...u99_DropBox.JPG .. Again, it is not a requirement as fas I am aware but I've seen it hanging a bit ackward at times with some people who did it the way you attached the straps, especially when walking it might go ackward, doing it like as in that picture will reduce that. Also, did you use tape and not glue or a magnet to hold the back of the dropbox? Since I'm at the belt already, ideally we should see a similar picture of your belt but taken of the front. This would show the 45 degree trimmed edges and the 3 buttons for example. Looking from where the pops are in the belt, I'm sure this is done correctly but still, our DO might decide different Going to the back, I think they would also like to see a close up of the TD. A bit up, the shoulderbridges with the white elastic, not sure if this is a requirement to do it like this but it seems as if the white elastic is too high up and maybe not really holding down the back straps (or at least, it could be thought of it that way). Ideally you would want to have it like in this picture: http://www.whitearmo...idgeElastic.jpg Personally I'd advise you to look very carefully at the thread here: http://www.whitearmo...ion-guidelines/ for the application guidelines with examples of pictures. I'm sorry I am nitpicking here a bit.. guess I'm in that kind of mood lol. No need to worry about any of it yet, it's the DO who makes the decisions and not me And if anything, it's all minor anyways -
Don't think my wife would like it, though xD But yeah, I know I don't need permission but if I could reduce some of the costs, that'd be cool but that's only doable with doctor's referral Yeah thats also one of my worries.. my dr. better knows her people lol
-
I think this is easily one of the best White House responses to anything I've seen
-
lol do or do not, eh? xD Nah want to discuss it with my doctor first, also have to discuss some other stuffs.. plus I might be covered for it but will need a referral in that case (kind of hope I am, when we had to choose a plan, we did choose a plan with the best/most options at the time and I know one of their plans does cover it, so I might be lucky but I guess I'll have to check that first).
